Top 5 landing spots for Jalen Ramsey
Jalen Ramsey’s time in Jacksonville appears to be coming to an end. The disgruntled cornerback has demanded a trade from the Jaguars, after he engaged in a sideline shouting match with head coach Doug Marrone on Sunday.

The war of words occurred late in the first quarter of Jacksonville’s 13-12 loss to Houston, after Ramsey was burned by Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins for a first down. The two-time Pro Bowler stormed over to the bench, where he ripped into Marrone for not throwing a challenge flag on the play.

Cooler heads have since prevailed, but Ramsey remains adamant that he wants a fresh start elsewhere and has cited "disrespect" from the franchise. We’ve sifted through the scuttlebutt and have identified the top five teams likely to trade for the former first-round pick.
1. Oakland Raiders
The Raiders know a thing or two about courting controversy, so it should come as no surprise that they’ve made formal inquiries about acquiring Ramsey. The 24-year-old would instantly upgrade Oakland’s secondary, and the team could be willing to offer both of its first-round picks from 2020 to secure his services.2. Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City finished 12-4 last season despite ranking 31st in total defense in 2018. Just imagine how scary the defending AFC West champs would be with Ramsey picking off passes and handing the ball over to Pat Mahomes.#Chiefs heading to book Jalen Ramsey's flight to Kansas City. pic.twitter.com/4euu7ilTEC

3. Baltimore Ravens
Lamar Jackson has been all the rage in Baltimore this season, but that could quickly change if the Ravens wheel and deal for Ramsey. The cornerback fills a pressing need, as the team copes with the absence of Jimmy Smith, who sprained his knee against the Miami Dolphins and is expected to miss multiple weeks.4. Minnesota Vikings
It's easy to understand why the Vikings have been burning up the Jags' phone lines. Ramsey is a sizable upgrade over cornerback Xavier Rhodes, who is five years older and has been in sharp decline over the past two seasons. The former All-Pro has blamed his drop-off on fatigue, but the fact remains that opposing quarterbacks no longer fear Rhodes like they did earlier in his career. The #Vikings have inquired about Jaguars start CB Jalen Ramsey per Josina Anderson.

5. Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles are among six teams that have reached out to the Jaguars, but it is unclear just how much they're willing to give up for the corner. A first rounder and 23-year-old cornerback Sidney Jones would get the deal done, but that may be too steep an asking price, even for Howie Roseman. The Jaguars are 1-2 following a 20-7 win over the Tennessee Titans on Thursday night, but remain distant a +9000 longshot to win the Super Bowl.
