Titans still considered a longshot to win Super Bowl LIV
The Tennessee Titans began the NFL playoffs as longshots, and that moniker remains for now, despite a pair of road wins over the New England Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens.
The Titans are currently 7.5-point underdogs against the Chiefs for Sunday’s AFC Championship Game. Can they continue to beat the odds and author a classic underdog sports story? They’re halfway there, which is far closer than anyone would’ve believed possible two weeks ago.

Titans’ outright odds shift after crushing the Ravens
Of the four teams remaining in the NFL Playoffs, the Titans still have the highest odds to win the Super Bowl. A $10 wager on Tennessee to win the Super Bowl has the potential total payout of $85.Last week those odds were +2800, which was tied with the Houston Texans for the highest odds on the board prior to the start of the Divisional Round.
The challenge now will be to stop the Chiefs offense, which shrugged off a slow start before it opened up the floodgates on the Texans in Sunday’s game—a 51-31 victory that has lifted Kansas City to the status of Super Bowl favorite (-105). The Titans didn’t have any issues slowing down Lamar Jackson and the Ravens offense.
Will those two big road wins for the Titans do anything to sway bettors looking at the futures market this week?
Can anyone stop Derrick Henry?
The NFL’s leading rusher during the regular season has continued to run around, through, and over opposing defenses in the playoffs. The Titans’ offensive game plan has been simple—give the ball to Derrick Henry. That plan has been effective.

Through two playoff games he has 377 rushing yards on 64 carries. And his passer rating is off the charts! If you include Week 17 of the regular season, Henry has amassed 588 yards on the ground in three games.

The Chiefs now have the pleasure of trying to limit the damage. They weren’t stout against the run in the regular season, at 128 rushing yards allowed per game.
