The NFL’s hottest team is the Baltimore Ravens, who have won of six straight games. Oddsmakers have lowered the Ravens’ Super Bowl odds from +1800 on November 1 to +560 as of November 19. Let's investigate whether they’re worth a wager at their new price.
Odds to win the Super Bowl
Team | Super Bowl Odds |

San Francisco 49ers | +750 |
Kansas City Chiefs | +800 |
Baltimore has been blowing teams out
Baltimore has survived some close shaves during its current win streak, with a win over the Steelers by just a field goal October 6 and a six-point victory over the Bengals the following week. However, over the last three games, the Ravens’ average margin of victory is 29 points. That included a decisive, 17-point victory against the defending champion Patriots on November 3 and a 34-point blowout over the Texans on Sunday.I thought only Patrick Mahomes can do this?pic.twitter.com/2sFZ4C5wMt

Jackson has been virtually unstoppable
Quarterback Lamar Jackson has gotten the lion’s share of the credit, despite ranking just 19th in passing yards this season. His legs have made the difference, as he has rushed for 788 yards, good for 10th among eligible players. Jackson has accounted for 13 touchdowns during his club’s six-game win streak and hasn’t tossed an interception since Week 5.Lamar Jackson on passing for 4 TD in multiple games this season: "That's a good stat. I like that stat. I'd rather throw them than run them. Since I'm a 'running back,' they're gonna still say whatever they're going to say." pic.twitter.com/fybNYcGmaR

However, Jackson’s struggles against the Chargers in last year’s AFC Wild Card Game are still fresh in the mind, and it is possible Baltimore is peaking too soon. The Ravens’ defense is also rated 19th in yards allowed per play, and bettors should wait to see how Baltimore fares against the Rams, 49ers and Bills over the next three weeks before considering a play. Their odds probably won’t dip much from here.
The Chiefs offer value to bettors
The Chiefs (+800) could be an interesting “buy low” option at this point in the season. There is a good chance they'll go 4-1 to end the year, as they'll face the Raiders, Patriots, Broncos, Bears and Chargers over the final five weeks. Kansas City defeated the Ravens when they met at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 3, as well as Week 14 of last season. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes is still fourth in passing yards in 2019, even though he missed three games with an injury.Wager on all Week 12 NFL action now at BetAmerica!
