The one Super Bowl betting prop you can't afford to miss
Prop bets are always fun, but they're especially exciting when they involve the Super Bowl. You have the usual—like who will win MVP, what color Gatorade will be dumped on the winning coach, and how long the national anthem will be. However, my favorite are the First/Last/Anytime touchdown props.
The other prop is about whether a specific player will score a touchdown at any point in the game. One of the most important aspects to know is that a quarterback passing touchdown does not count. If you select a quarterback, they must get a rushing or receiving touchdown to win the wager. You can also select no touchdowns to be scored at large odds.
The conventional pick would be running back Raheem Mostert, based on his last game. However, I love the odds of wide receiver Kendrick Bourne. I believe the Chiefs will make a concerted effort to shut down the rushing game, as they did against the Titans. However, the Niners can throw the ball when they need to, and Bourne finished the season strong as an end-zone threat. He scored touchdowns in five games since Week 9 and he was the first touchdown scorer in three of those.
What are these props?
You can wager on who will score the first touchdown of the game, the last touchdown of the game, or if a player will score a touchdown at any point in the game. The first and last touchdowns are very simple. You are simply predicting who will score the first touchdown of the game and who will score the last touchdown of the game. This wager includes overtime. The other prop is about whether a specific player will score a touchdown at any point in the game. Predictions
First touchdown: Kendrick Bourne (+1800)
The start of this wager is to determine which team you will believe will score the first touchdown of the game. I believe that will be the San Francisco 49ers.The conventional pick would be running back Raheem Mostert, based on his last game. However, I love the odds of wide receiver Kendrick Bourne. I believe the Chiefs will make a concerted effort to shut down the rushing game, as they did against the Titans. He scored touchdowns in five games since Week 9 and he was the first touchdown scorer in three of those.
Last touchdown: Raheem Mostert (+650)
This wager is another one where you should start by picking which team you think will score last. I believe the Niners will win by double digits, and in the fourth quarter, they will be running out the Chiefs hopes. This brings us to a three-way choice, between running backs Mostert, Tevin Coleman, and Matt Breida. Coleman has injury concerns, and even though he is expected to be available, I do not see him finishing the game. Mostert is the much more likely pick to close out the game than Breida, as Breida will most likely just be used as a change-of-pace back.Raheem Mostert stealing tackling angles with ridiculous burst. pic.twitter.com/0wPtDGzswh

Anytime touchdown: Patrick Mahomes (+375)
There are many options to win this wager, as multiple touchdowns are likely to be scored. The key is to find the best odds of a touchdown scorer. I believe we have that with Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes has shown his running ability in recent weeks, with three scores in three of his last seven games. The Niners have allowed three of their 11 rushing touchdowns to quarterbacks. I expect Mahomes to sneak one in on a scramble at some point.Calling Patrick Mahomes' unbelievable run in #Coffeetown pic.twitter.com/folpWW63S4
