We have reached the quarterfinals of the 2019 Women's World Cup, and all of Europe is having a party that America is trying to crash.

Seven of the eight quarterfinal teams come from Europe, while the lone team trying to spoil the European fun is the United States Women's National Team. The winners move onto the semifinals in Lyon for a shot at playing for the trophy.

Thursday

Norway vs. England

(Norway +230, England +100, Draw +215)

Norway enters the quarterfinals off a surprise victory over Australia, but don't underestimate the Norwegians. They've won a World Cup, and have been trying to get back to the pinnacle they achieved in 1995. England is a team that has become one of the best in the world. Its offensive creativity will be the difference in this match. The Lionesses will sneak past Norway into the semifinals.

Friday

France vs. United States

(France +195, USA +115, Draw +190)

This is the match everyone has been waiting for. The French have had some trouble in this tournament, but they are right where they want to be—in Paris hosting a quarterfinal for the right to head to Lyon. It will be an atmosphere that feels like the World Cup final, and it sets up to be the match of the tournament. The Americans had a tough match against Spain that they eventually won thanks to two Megan Rapinoe penalty goals. They're going to need a lot more than that to beat the hosts and move onto the semifinals, a point they've reached in every World Cup. To win the USWNT will have to play much sharper than it did against Sweden and Spain, but this is the match the Americans have been anticipating and they're going to rise to the occasion. Julie Ertz scores the first on a header, Tobin Heath adds a second to offset a Eugénie Le Sommer goal and Christen Press adds the closer as the United States takes down the hosts 3-1 (+2225).

Saturday

Italy vs. Netherlands

(Italy +225, Netherlands +100, Draw +190)

Italy and the Netherlands have been playing extremely well during the World Cup, and this matchup could be special. Cristiana Girelli has been terrific for Le Azzurre, and they'll need another great performance from her. Lieke Martens is a former World Player of the Year for the Dutch and will need to do her part to carry the Oranje. This will be a match that heads to extra time (+190) and the Dutch will advance on penalties.

Germany vs. Sweden

(Germany -155, Sweden +345, Draw +215)

The Germans have been almost an afterthought in the World Cup, but they are still one of the teams to beat. They face a Sweden team that is familiar to them, but the Swedes have not won a matchup against Germany since 2015. Thanks to a marvelous performance by Hedvig Lindahl, Sweden will pull off the upset to move on.
