Why is Liverpool such a huge favorite in EPL futures?
Liverpool is attempting to run the table in the English Premier League and win its first top-flight title in 20 years. The Reds are the odds-on favorite to win the EPL, so let’s examine why they are so far ahead of the pack and whether any other team is worth a wager.

Liverpool’s balanced approach is driving its success
Liverpool is unbeaten in the EPL this season and has a 33-match unbeaten streak dating back to January 12. No team has gone unbeaten in the league for a season since the Arsenal “Invincibles” back in 2003-2004. Last season Liverpool lost one match to Manchester City, and that defeat was the difference on the league table at the end of the season, as the Citizens finished a point ahead of Liverpool. The Reds have an eight-point lead on Leicester City and a 14-point lead on Manchester City, and many consider that lead insurmountable. They are finding ways to win, and their success begins with balance. Liverpool's offense has been stellar, and goals can come from anywhere. The defense hasn’t let up, either, and the Reds are exuding the confidence instilled in them by manager Jürgen Klopp.
Jürgen Klopp has took Liverpool to where they are because they deserve to be there. All good things however, start from somewhere.

I truly believe that this moment was the start of the German stamping that winning mentality in the team. #LFC

They’re also closing teams out. Last year they had seven draws during the season. If any of them were a win instead, Liverpool would have won the title. This year the Reds only have one draw.
Will they avoid the slip?
Last season Liverpool had a seven-point lead on Manchester City at the top of the table when they met at the Etihad. Liverpool lost that match, drew a couple others and lost the title to the Citizens. Liverpool is due for a slip. The only question is when it will come. The Reds' next six matches are against teams in the top 11, including a Boxing Day slugfest against Leicester City. If Leicester wins that match, it would be only five points back, and the pressure on Liverpool will increase.Leicester City are a well oiled machine 😤 pic.twitter.com/BJKAg9lyeS

Manchester City also can catch Liverpool, but the Citizens are will have to mount a long win streak and hope that Liverpool slips along the way. Man City next hosts Liverpool on April 4, and that could be the match that determines whether Liverpool runs away with the title or if Leicester or Man City catch them. Liverpool’s final three matches will be difficult, as well—at Arsenal, a home date versus Chelsea and another away test at Newcastle.
Liverpool also has a loaded schedule. The Reds are trying to win their first league title in 20 years, but they’re also trying to defend their Champions League crown. On top of that they’re still in the League Cup and will enter the FA Cup in January. Load management, a word common to NBA fans, will be the key for Liverpool to keep its stars fresh for all competitions, and that could decide whether Liverpool lifts the EPL trophy or comes up just short once again.
