Thursday
Brazil vs. Paraguay
(Brazil -590, Paraguay +1525, Draw +625)
Brazil has been playing pretty well throughout the tournament so far, but still has to get past a Paraguay team that drew Argentina in the group stage. Paraguay will need players like Miguel Almiron and Oscar Cardozo to step it up to have a chance of beating La Seleção. Brazil has received contributions from several players, including Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino. The hosts will need to control possession against Paraguay to create scoring chances for their stars. Look for Brazil to edge Paraguay by a 2-1 score (+1025).Friday
Venezuela vs. Argentina
(Venezuela +550, Argentina -175, Draw +275)
Venezuela has surprised with its play so far in the group stage, while Argentina has been underwhelming. Venezuela is still undefeated in this tournament, and fans of La Albiceleste are hoping the knockout stage will bring out the best in their aging stars. Lionel Messi has the pressure of getting Argentina back to the a third straight Copa América final, but the team hasn't been responding well to the pressure. This will be a tight game that will be a draw after 90 minutes (+280), but ultimately Argentina will survive with a goal in extra time to advance.Colombia vs. Chile
(Colombia +125, Chile +255, Draw +210)
The team of the tournament so far has been Colombia, which has looked impressive in each of its matches. The Colombians won all three of their group stage matches and look like they're ready to storm all the way to the final. Standing in their way is Chile, the two-time defending Copa América champions. The Chileans know how to win on this stage against tough opponents, but it doesn't seem like it is in the cards this time around. Colombia is just too good and will win 2-0 (+850).Saturday
Uruguay vs. Peru
(Uruguay -145, Peru +450, Draw +260)
Uruguay is hoping to carve a path back to the greatness they exhibited against the rest of South America over the past decade. Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani have been the guys pacing La Celeste, and they will be called upon once again to provide some goals as they seek a berth in the semifinals. Peru will not be an easy out, despite its last match being a 4-0 dismantling by Brazil. The Peruvian fans don't have any quit, and La Blanquirroja will play this game with fire. For Peru to have a chance, team captain Paolo Guerrero will need to carry the team on his back by taking advantage of scoring chances and helping keep the defense in order. Uruguay has too much firepower, though, and will be 3-1 victors (+1525).International soccer is at the forefront in June, so check out all the action at BetAmerica!
