Premier League Parlay Picks for Matchweek 24
It may be Valentine’s Day on Sunday, but there will be no love lost in the Premier League. While Manchester City are threatening to run away with the title, old enemies Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho are going head-to-head and they certainly won’t be exchanging flowers.
Goals look hard to come by in several matches, and a high-scoring thriller is as likely as me finally receiving that Valentine’s Day card from Mila Kunis which I so dearly hope arrives.
I can’t spend another year blaming the postman for losing it…
Anyway, back to business and with some red-hot fixtures this weekend, here is a parlay which would return $76.23 off a $10 bet.
Man City vs. Tottenham – Both Teams to Score: No (-130)
Despite briefly topping the table towards the end of 2020, Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham are now battling for a top four spot and are in complete disarray. Since Dec. 7, they have played 11 league games and won just three.
In complete contrast, Manchester City have won their last 15 games in a row in all competitions and haven’t lost since Nov. 21 – a 2-0 defeat away to Spurs.

Man City are big favourites here, but the smarter bet is that either of these teams won’t score. They are the two toughest defenses in the league, and Man City have only conceded once in the last seven games. Expect Mourinho to attempt to park the bus and nick a win in a defensive affair where goals are at a premium.
Brighton vs. Aston Villa – Under 3.5 goals (-220)
Talking off a lack of goals, step forward Brighton. Graham Potter’s side have gone six league games now in which we haven’t seen more than two goals, and they are set up to defend in numbers and frustrate the opposition.
Man City had to work hard for their 1-0 win, while Liverpool and Tottenham were both on the end of 1-0 defeats in that run against the Seagulls.

Villa have been free-scoring going forward, and have failed to find the back of the net just once in their last 10 league games. Ollie Watkins, in particular, has been in red-hot form supported by a wealth of attacking flair.
But 91% of Villa’s away games this season have seen fewer than 3.5 goals and Brighton have proved over the last month they are a tough nut to crack.
Everton vs. Fulham – Under 3.5 goals (-275)
Tough nuts to crack you say? None come tougher than Fulham. They may look set for relegation at the end of the season, but they are doing enough to frustrate opponents and have incredibly drawn eight of their last 11 games – including taking a point off West Ham, Tottenham, and Liverpool.
Everton just played a nine-goal thriller in the FA Cup, winning 5-4, and that came only a few days after they scored a last-minute equalizer to draw 3-3 with Man United.

But that might be the exception to the rule – in the 11 matches before that 3-3 thriller, Everton games had never seen more than 3.5 goals and Carlo Ancelotti’s men had to play an extra half an hour of football in mid-week in the cup, which they may be feeling this weekend.
Man United to win to zero vs West Brom (+105)
While Manchester United’s defensive calamities have been well-documented, the Red Devils can boast the highest scoring offense in the league – and now they get to feast on the worst performing defense.
West Brom have conceded 54 goals this season – 15 more than anyone else – and they look destined to return to the Championship in the very near future. Away from home against top half sides their record reads played six, drawn one, lost five. Those five games they lost, the Baggies conceded 17 goals and didn’t score once.

That’s exactly what Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs given the recent negative press heaped on his goalkeeper and wobbly defensive: A mis-firing West Brom taking on a United team with the best away record in the league.
