The 2019 MLS Cup Final is set, and it’s a rubber match as the Seattle Sounders and Toronto FC face off for the third time in four years. Let's break down the matchup and examine who will claim the title and add another star above their crest.

Stefan Frei has been brilliant for Seattle

The key will be in the middle, where Cristian Roldan will be called upon to help with possession as well as create lanes for their attackers to flourish. If Seattle wins the middle and keeps playing terrific defense, they could have the edge.
Alejandro Pozuelo and Nick DeLeon have stepped up for Toronto
Toronto FC shouldn’t be in this match, but their determination and grit on the road against NYCFC and Atlanta United, the top two seeds in the East, have put them on the brink of a second MLS Cup title in three seasons. They’ve done it with inspiring play from guys like Alejandro Pozuelo and Nick DeLeon. For Toronto to win another MLS Cup, they’re going to have to continue to be solid in the middle and clear any garbage out of their defensive end. Michael Bradley will need to continue to lead and have guys like Marky Delgado and defenders Justin Morrow and Laurent Ciman hold it down in the back.
Prediction: Toronto FC
