Mourinho has the Spurs trending in the right direction
Spurs have won four out of their last five matches and are creeping back up the table. When manager Mauricio Pochettino was let go for Jose Mourinho, Spurs were sitting in 14th place. Now they’re in fifth and looking to leapfrog Chelsea. Harry Kane and Son Heung-min have been stellar lately for Spurs, but Dele Alli will be the key in this match. Since Mourinho has arrived in North London, Alli has seen more of the field and been given more space to roam.Get in!! Unbelievable character from the team today! Can he be a third option against Chelsea? The answer to that could be what gives Spurs an edge.
Christian Pulisic hasn’t found the back of the net in a few weeks, and Chelsea’s finishing in the penalty area has been lacking lately. There have also been defensive lapses that have cost them points. Frank Lampard’s side will need to refocus, make a commitment to keeping the defensive third clean and capitalize on its scoring opportunities to stop the bleeding and the freefall in the standings.
Pulisic is mired in a slump
Chelsea has had terrible form lately in the EPL. The Blues have lost four of their last five matches and are now 20 points behind Liverpool. Still, they’re managed to hang onto fourth place, but they’ll need to recover and have a great match against Tottenham.Christian Pulisic hasn’t found the back of the net in a few weeks, and Chelsea’s finishing in the penalty area has been lacking lately. Prediction: 2-2 draw (+1000)
This is going to be a wonderful match, where we see both teams open it up a bit and have some great moments. Tammy Abraham will get back to his scoring ways (+120) and also add an assist to help the Blues, but Harry Kane will get two goals (+130) en route to a 2-2 draw.Whether you like to play the MLS or soccer around the world, BetAmerica is your place to wager on the beautiful game!
