EPL game of the week: Manchester United vs. Arsenal

The best match of the English Premier League week won’t take place until Monday night in England, but it will be worth the wait. Manchester United will look to get back on track against Arsenal, as both teams try to keep pace with the leaders in the table.

United has struggled the past couple weeks in all competitions, including a 2-0 loss in its last league match to West Ham. Manchester United only has two wins in its first six EPL matches and is looking out of sorts. To get back on track, the Red Devils will have to get more production from their midfield. Arsenal is looking to remain in the EPL's top four with a win on the road, and the Gunners have been playing fairly well to start the season. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette have formed a great duo up front, but Dani Ceballos needs to continue to be their engine in the middle. On defense David Luiz needs to be much better, and they will need to resist their constant urge to not mark dangerous attackers inside the box. We know where Arsenal’s scoring will likely come from, but defense remains the question.

Prediction: Arsenal 2-1 (+1150)

Arsenal has been the most consistent of the two teams this season, but the Gunners also rarely play well on the road against high-profile clubs. This is the statement game that they’re looking for, and they will take advantage against a Man U team that has played sloppily.
