Can additions/subtractions mean a cohesive Man U?

Manchester United enters the 2019-2020 season looking to get back into the top four in the league and challenge for a title. Its main addition in the offseason was Harry Maguire, but the club also recently lost Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan. On paper Manchester United has a top-four roster, and it has one of the better goalkeepers in the world, David de Gea.

Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford will be counted on to provide the attack, but to get off to a great start in front of the home fans at Old Trafford, the Red Devils are will have to maintain possession and be poised inside the box. At times last season they played very erratic and without chemistry, and it showed in results throughout the year. Will we see a mature Manchester United side take the field?

Will Pulisic have an immediate impact for Chelsea?

Chelsea has seen its best player (Eden Hazard) and star defender (David Luiz) depart the club, but finally gets to build an attack around incoming American Christian Pulisic, who will begin his Premier League career after a January transfer from Borussia Dortmund (he remained on loan to Dortmund during the spring).

With Willian, Pedro, N'Golo Kanté and Jorginho in the middle, Chelsea is once again one of the favorites to contend for the league title this season. New manager Frank Lampard will hope to get Chelsea off to a great start by using the fast wing players to stretch the Manchester United defense and let Kanté, Jorginho and even Mateo Kovačić quarterback the attack. It will make for some exciting moments, but Chelsea's defense has to remain steady to stop counterattacks.

Fans are lucky to have a matchup like this on the first weekend. It will be a chance to see what America's star can do on a huge stage. Pulisic will not disappoint, as he scores one goal (+350) and adds an assist, and Chelsea will escape Old Trafford with its first victory of the season.
