Brazil is always a major contender for the World Cup, and 2022 will be no exception. The Brazilians have some of the best players on the planet, and when they’re on, they’re basically unstoppable.Brazil will be led by Neymar, who should have a much better performance than he did in 2018. Alisson is one of the best goalkeepers in the world, and Rodrygo could emerge to be one of the best young players in the tournament. Add Roberto Firmino on the wing and Casemiro in the middle, and why wouldn’t the current No. 3 team in the world not be a favorite to end 2022?
France (+600)
The defending World Cup champions will have their main core intact for 2020. The current No. 2 team in the world has the luxury of trotting out a lineup that includes Kylian Mbappé, N’Golo Kanté and Paul Pogba to generate the attack, among others. Raphaël Varane is set to become the main centerback to lead the defense, and presumably Hugo Lloris will get one last World Cup as the starting goalkeeper. You have to love France’s chances to repeat in Qatar.Spain (+700)
Spain has a nice mix of veterans and young, upcoming talent, and though it is the current 8th-ranked team in the world, the Spaniards could have one of the best chances to win in 2022. Sergio Ramos will be the leader on the defense, but La Furia Roja will have some great young options up front. Marco Asensio is pointed to emerge as one of the best wingers in the world, Dani Ceballos will be in the middle commanding the attack and phenom Ansu Fati could be the X-factor.Lionel Messi is denied on the doorstep after Ansu Fati's lovely outside-of-the-boot set-up. Belgium (+1200)
Belgium shouldn’t be overlooked. It is not the top-ranked team in the world for nothing. The Belgians have some serious talent, with Eden Hazard, Romelu Lukaku and Kevin De Bruyne leading the charge. Adnan Januzaj is one of many players on the team that is still young, but packs a ton of experience for club and country. We've got a goal!!

This Belgian golden generation made it to the semifinals of the 2018 World Cup, so don’t count it out when it comes to a possible run to the 2022 World Cup title.
Colombia (+4000)
Colombia is a team that is a serious dark horse to win in 2022. The current 10th-ranked team in the world, the Colombians will have two of their best players in their prime—James Rodriguez and Juan Cuadrado.

Yerry Mina will also be in his prime on defense, and don’t count out Radamel Falcao getting one last shot at glory. If they can put it all together, Los Cafeteros can stand tall as 2022 World Cup champions.
