How to Play Casino Hold’em
Casino Hold’em is one of the most fun casino table games to play.
Fans of Texas Hold’em poker will get a thrill from the turn of the cards, but you don’t have to be a poker player to enjoy the game.
Unlike Texas Hold’em, where you’re up against other poker players, in Casino Hold’em, you play against the house. Aside from placing your initial ante, you only have one simple decision to make each round – to play on or pass!
You get two cards, and the aim is to combine these with five ‘community cards’ to create a better five-card poker hand than the dealer.
Sound simple? That’s because it is. A bonus is that the game is a slow burner, meaning you won’t lose anything quickly. The only volatility the game does have is in your favor – because if you make a big hand like a Royal Flush, your bet is multiplied by 100-1.
How to Win at Casino Hold’em
To win double your bet back, all you must do is beat the dealer’s hand. The good news for you is that the dealer must have a pair of fours or better to qualify. So, even if you miss altogether with a rubbish hand, it can still win.
Where you make extra money is by making a good poker hand, one of the following:
Royal Flush: 100/1 (10-J-Q-K-A of the same suit)
Straight Flush: 20/1 (a straight of the same suit)
Four of a Kind: 10/1
Full House: 3/1 (three of one rank and two of another)
Flush: 2/1 (five cards of the same suit)
Straight or less: 1/1
AA Bonus
Place a bet in the AA Bonus spot, and you’ll get an additional payout on certain winning hands – 25/1 on flushes or higher, or 7/1 on a pair of aces up to a straight. However, the bonus only counts if you make these hands in the first piece of action, with your two cards and the first three community cards.
NetEnt’s Casino Hold’em
Play Hold'em on your own against the dealer in this awesome table game using a standard deck of 52 cards. The graphics are crisp, and the sound and gameplay are second to none.
Take your seat and place how much you’d like to bet in the Ante box (limits are $0.10 up to $100). You’ll then be prompted to place an optional stake in the AA Bonus box, should you wish to play the side bet.
The cards are dealt, with two face-up to you and two face-down to the dealer, along with the first three community cards. Based on the strength of your cards and how they sit alongside the community cards, you must elect to call or fold. Calling means doubling your ante. So if you put in a $1 ante, you now call for another $2.
If you call, the dealer deals the two remaining community cards, and the dealer’s two cards are revealed. Whoever has the best hand wins, although the dealer needs at least two fours to qualify.
It’s as simple as that.
