Stars vs. Golden Knights: The best player prop bets for Dec. 8
Two Western Conference clubs on the rise will meet at T-Mobile Arena on Wednesday night as the Dallas Stars visit the Vegas Golden Knights.
The surging Stars have won seven straight, surrendering just nine goals in that span. The Golden Knights are 8-4 over their last 12 games, averaging four goals per contest. We’ll dive into this matchup of contrasting styles and give out our three favorite player prop bets.
Dallas Stars (13-7-2) at Vegas Golden Knights (14-10-0), 10:00 p.m. ET, TNT
Joe Pavelski to score at least one point
Despite taking just 11 shots on goal during Dallas’ seven-game win streak, Joe Pavelski has been a driving force behind this run. Expect him to find the scoresheet once more on Wednesday night.

Pavelski has 12 points over the Stars’ last seven games, as he's scored three goals and assisted in nine others. In fact, he had a four-game multi-point scoring streak prior to Monday’s tilt against the Arizona Coyotes.
Vegas’ defense tends to be accommodating, allowing the ninth-most shots per game (32.8) in the NHL. That could afford Pavelski and the rest of the Dallas offense some additional scoring chances.
NHL pick: Yes (-134)
Tyler Seguin to score at least one point
They say a rising tide lifts all boats, but that hasn’t been the case with Tyler Seguin during the Stars’ recent run.

Seguin has just one point – a goal scored against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Dec. 2 – in his last seven games. He’s taken one or fewer shots on goal in five of those last seven outings.
He’s available at a fair price to be held off the scoresheet once more, so take advantage of it.
NHL pick: No (-118)
Goal Scorer: Max Pacioretty
Max Pacioretty has been on a tear since coming back from injury on Nov. 24, registering four goals and three assists in a five-game span. He seems to be in good position to add to that total, even against the stingy Stars.
It's basically a no-doubter when Max Pacioretty fires the puck.

Pacioretty has been creating his own luck by peppering opposing netminders with 27 shots on goal over his last five games. He hasn’t been eased back into the lineup by any stretch either, with head coach Pete DeBoer playing him on the top line with Mark Stone and Chandler Stevenson. Expect DeBoer to ride the hot hand in this one.
NHL pick: Pacioretty anytime goal (+155)
