Stanley Cup Playoffs: Bruins, Hurricanes Set for Game 1
After some Game 7 drama on the other side of the Stanley Cup Playoffs bracket, the Carolina Hurricanes and Boston Bruins hit the TD Garden ice for Game 1 of Eastern Conference Finals on Thursday.
Carolina Hurricanes (+130) at Boston Bruins (-150), 8 p.m. ET, NBCSN
The Hurricanes have won six straight games, following a sweep of the New York Islanders, and haven't lost since Game 5 in the first round against the Washington Capitals on April 20.Plenty of trends point to the Hurricanes winning Game 1, but they're at a disadvantage Thursday night. The Hurricanes are 1-5 in the last six meetings with the Bruins, and they're 0-4 in the last four in Boston.
Boston also looked great in its last three playoff games against the Blue Jackets. The Bruins outscored Columbus 11-4 during that stretch.
