NHL free picks: Bruins vs. Flyers, Predators vs. Canadiens
A total of nine NHL games will be taking place on Tuesday night, including a nationally televised clash between the Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers. We’ll preview that game, as well as the Nashville Predators/Montreal Canadiens contest.

Philadelphia Flyers | +1.5 | -110 | U 5.5 |
The red-hot Flyers look like a good bet to build on their nine-game winning streak at the Wells Fargo Center on Tuesday night, even as the NHL-best Bruins come to town.
Philadelphia has taken no prisoners during their current hot streak, outscoring the opposition 39-13. Six of those wins were earned over teams currently in playoff position. Right winger Jakub Voracek has just one goal during the win streak but has been a great facilitator on offense, tallying 12 assists. The Flyers have won four straight meetings with Boston.
The Bruins will be without blueline linchpin Torey Krug (upper body) for this game after he took an awkward hit during his team’s 5-3 loss to the Lightning on Saturday. Boston was already down a defenseman in Brandon Carlo, who will miss his second straight game after taking an elbow from Florida’s Evgenii Dadonov on Thursday.

If recent trends are any indication, goals will be difficult to come by at the Bell Centre on Tuesday night as the Predators visit the Canadiens.
Nashville, on the outside looking in toward a playoff spot, has scored just nine times in their last five games. Not surprisingly, Under bettors have been cashing constantly in games involving the Preds. The Under is 6-2 in Nashville’s last eight road games and a perfect 9-0 in their last nine games played on exactly two days of rest.
Meanwhile, Montreal managed just one goal against Florida on Saturday after being blanked by the Lightning two days earlier. The Under is 15-3 in the Habs’ last 18 games after scoring two or fewer goals in their previous tilt. Furthermore, the Under is 13-2-1 in the last 16 meetings between these two clubs, including an 8-0 run in Montreal.
