Weekend Hot Takes: No NFC South team will cover in Week 15
Is it getting hot in here or is it just our takes? BetAmerica columnists Ashley Anderson, Jeremy Balan, Ryan Murphy and Thomas Tassone share their sizzling picks for this weekend’s sports action. Handle with caution!
NFL: No NFC South team will cover in Week 15
Ashley: Aside from New Orleans, the NFC South has been almost as terrible as its East division counterpart. In Week 15, I predict no team in the NFC South will cover their respective spreads. Indy has about a 1% chance at the playoffs and will give New Orleans (-8) a closer battle than expected, Atlanta (+11.5) will be outmatched in San Francisco, Carolina (+6) has nothing to play for against playoff-hungry Seattle and Tampa Bay (-3.5) will see it come down to the wire in Detroit.NFL: Arizona will shock Cleveland
Jeremy: Let’s be clear. This is a play against. Cleveland has a somewhat respectable record because of four straight wins at home, but has lost its last four on the road. Other than a blowout loss two weeks ago to division rival Los Angeles, Arizona has largely played quality opponents tough at home, but that doesn’t really matter. The tempestuous squad with the orange helmets could be playing anybody. Arizona wins outright.Kyler Murray 💨💨 pic.twitter.com/MexoGgjj7N

NBA: Golden State will easily cover the spread against Utah
Ryan: Imagine getting Golden State as 13-point dogs a year ago. It never would have happened, and it shouldn’t happen tonight, given the fact that Draymond Green, D’Angelo Russell and Kevon Looney are all back in the lineup. Steve’s Kerr’s squad finally resembles an NBA team and the Dubs should comfortably cover the spread against a Jazz team that has lost six of its last 10 and is sporting an abysmal +0.3 point differential.Basketball is so much better when D’Angelo Russell is playing. NFL: Tennessee will beat Houston by 11
Thomas: Top spot in the AFC South is up for grabs this weekend as Tennessee and Houston prepare for battle in the must-see game of Week 15! Just when everybody thought Houston were legit contenders after an impressive victory against New England on Sunday Night Football, they followed up with a deflating performance that resulted in a 38-24 loss to Denver. Meanwhile, Derrick Henry has been putting up video-game type stat lines with 599 yards and seven touchdowns in his last four games. Add in the fact Ryan Tannehill is playing the best football of his career, and I believe Tennessee will cruise to a 31-20 victory and easily cover the spread of (-3).If you’re at all concerned about Derrick Henry’s status for Sunday as he nurses a hamstring injury, he offers reassurance: pic.twitter.com/033utmwpbU
