Titans vs. Jets: NFL Week 4 betting odds, preview, and pick
The hapless New York Jets return home after an 0-3 start to face the Tennessee Titans, a team that has rebounded nicely after an opening week blowout loss. Let's examine this matchup, beginning with the latest betting odds.
Jets have been grounded in 2021
The Jets have looked worse in each subsequent week, getting outscored 46-3 in the first half of their three games so far, and rookie QB Zach Wilson has already thrown seven interceptions and been sacked 15 times.

The offensive line is not helping, ranking 29th in the league in pass blocking win-rate. Offseason wide receiver acquisition Corey Davis has multiple drops, and starting running back Michael Carter is averaging less than 30 yards per game on the ground.
The defense isn’t much better, with the defensive line mostly consisting of below-average young players on rookie contracts, and the 2-deep having multiple players on the IR. Safety Marcus Maye is playing okay, coming in second on the team in tackles and adding a sack and an interception to his stats, but there are no game changers at any level.

Teams that are 0-2 straight-up often have a great record against the spread in Week 3, but the Jets went the other way in their 26-0 shutout loss to the Broncos. It shows that this team, despite their public statements, may in fact believe internally they’re not capable of better. Or maybe worse, it illustrates they simply can’t perform any better. Either way, it is going to be a very long year in New York, and all of the money pouring in against them is justified.

Titans will topple Jets
The Jets look like a team that has no chance of winning or even covering. The offense is simply awful, and the Titans appear to have bounced back strongly following their embarrassing home loss to the Cardinals in Week 1. They took ownership of that defeat and vowed to respond with more intensity, and have successfully done so while winning as underdogs in Seattle and again on the road versus division rival Indianapolis in Week 3.
The Titans' offense looks cohesive again, and it seems as though only a few major mistakes could derail them in this matchup against the Jets. It may be one of the most public plays of the week because fading the Jets is so appealing, but in this case I’d rather ride the trend (Jets not covering) than look to be a contrarian and pick the spot where the trend breaks.
Score prediction: Titans 30, Jets 14
NFL Week 4 Pick: Titans -7.5
