Titans vs. Colts: NFL Week 8 betting odds, preview, and pick
The Indianapolis Colts hope to avenge their Week 3 loss to the Tennessee Titans, when the two meet at Lucas Oil Stadium in Week 8 for their second division matchup of the season.
Colts weather storm to win second straight
Following an 0-3 start, capped by their loss to Tennessee in Week 3, the Colts have flipped the script, with back-to-back victories, including a win on Sunday Night Football, against the San Francisco 49ers.
On a rainy evening inside Levi's Stadium, Indianapolis took down San Francisco, 30-18, as quarterback Carson Wentz played hero in a sloppy road victory.
Both teams combined for six turnovers during a rainstorm that made it difficult to secure the ball, but Wentz was able to connect with Michael Pittman Jr. for 105 yards and a 28-yard touchdown pass to put the Niners away late in the fourth quarter.

The veteran QB completed 17 of his 26 passes for 150 yards and accounted for three touchdowns, while running back Jonathan Taylor ran for 107 yards and a score on 18 carries.
The defense also had a big night, as it forced 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo into three turnovers — a pair of interceptions and a lost fumble.
To defeat Tennessee at home Sunday, Indianapolis will need another productive outing from Wentz and Taylor.
Last time out, Wentz failed to reach the end zone, while Taylor ran for just 64 yards against Tennessee's top 10 run defense.
Titans build case as Super Bowl contender
The Titans turned the ball over three times in their first meeting with Indy but overcame those mistakes to collect their first win in Nashville against their AFC South opponent since 2017.
Running back Derrick Henry rushed for 113 yards in the 25-16 victory. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill added 197 passing yards, 56 yards on the ground, three scores, and was intercepted twice.
Since then, Tennessee has won three of its last four games, including statement victories over AFC favorite Buffalo and Super Bowl runner-up Kansas City.
In Sunday's 27-3 upset of the Chiefs, the Titans defense held Patrick Mahomes to no touchdowns, 206 passing yards, intercepted him once, and forced a fumble.
Tennessee's offense was far more efficient against one of the league's worst stop units. Tannehill completed all but six of his 27 passes for 270 yards, threw for a touchdown, and ran for another, while wideout A.J. Brown racked up a season-high 133 receiving yards.
Henry also ran for 86 yards and threw a five-yard touchdown pass to MyCole Pruitt in the first quarter.

The Titans scored on their first five drives, to build a 27-0 halftime lead, and never looked back.
Their dominance against a perennial Super Bowl contender put the league on notice and should concern the Colts, who are at risk of falling three games behind in the AFC South.

Titans will edge rival in grueling road battle
Even though they lost the turnover battle and played most of the game without Brown in Week 3, the Titans managed to defeat their division foe in commanding fashion.
In Week 8, Tennessee will come in much healthier on offense and should be able to clean up some of the issues it experienced in the early part of the season.
Indianapolis will put up a solid fight at home, but Tennessee has the advantage against a battered secondary that surrendered 442 passing yards to Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens just two weeks ago.
Tannehill will find success on a few deep passes to send the Colts crashing back down to earth, and the Titans will earn their third straight win against their stiffest competition in the AFC South.
Score prediction: Titans 27, Colts 24
