Titans are being undervalued in Super Bowl odds
We’ve got another week of Super Bowl futures to examine (mercifully, the odds have corrected on the Arizona Cardinals, so I can talk about something else!). There are still some interesting value plays on the board at this point, and the one I’ll focus on this week comes from the AFC South.
This division features two one-win teams in the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans. However, it also features a 5-2 team coming off of a very impressive win and boasting an enviable arsenal of offensive playmakers.
Tennessee throttled Kansas City in Week 7
The Tennessee Titans throttled the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday and outplayed the reigning AFC champs in all phases of the game. The win was Tennessee’s third straight since a baffling loss to the woeful New York Jets, which sure seems like an outlier at this point rather than a true indication of each team’s talent.

Despite the 5-2 start, though, Tennessee is shockingly far down the list of contenders. The Titans, in fact, are currently the ninth choice in the wagering, and can be had at +1400. By contrast, the Chiefs, whom they just beat 27-3, are +1300.
Titans have plenty of playmakers
This seems like far too big a price on Tennessee. As the likely divisional champs, the Titans are almost certainly looking at at least one postseason home game. Add in the presence of all-world running back Derrick Henry and wide receivers A.J. Brown and Julio Jones, and you have a squad very few teams will ever look forward to playing.

Now's the time to wager on Tennessee
Perhaps they’re not the most talented squad in the AFC. The Buffalo Bills are co-favored to win it all at +500, and for good reason. However, I think there’s a lot to like with Tennessee at the current price, and I don’t think that price will get larger. With the exception of a two-game swing against the Rams and Saints next month, the remainder of their schedule looks very soft. If you like them, I’d advise you to lock in the wager now to ensure a square price.
