Thursday Night Football trends and picks for Seahawks vs. Cowboys
With a 13-win streak inside AT&T Stadium, the Dallas Cowboys have been red-hot at home and host a floundering Seattle Seahawks squad on Thursday Night Football in Week 13.
The Cowboys opened the week favored between -5.5 to -7.5, and the spread has continued to shift in their favor, rising to -9 on Thursday.
The Cowboys obliterated the Washington Commanders last Thursday in Dallas with a 45-10 rout on Thanksgiving, while Seattle hosted the San Francisco 49ers and got pummeled, 31-13 in Week 12.
Can Dallas cover at home and beat up on another subpar team?
Below we look at the top Thursday Night Football trends for the Seahawks-Cowboys and provide YOUBET's best picks for the NFC showdown.
Take Dallas to cover at home
Dallas has not lost at home since Week 1 of last season, when the Cowboys fell 19-3 to a Tom Brady-led Tampa Bay team. Since then, they've reeled off 13 straight victories inside At&T Stadium, and Dallas won its last two at home by at least 30 against division foes Washington and New York.
The Cowboys' closest home game in 2023 was a 30-10 beatdown of the New York Jets in Week 2. Since then, they have defeated New England 38-3 and the Los Angeles Rams 43-20 before dominating the Giants and Commanders in November.
Dallas is a perfect 5-0 against the spread at home and 8-1 ATS as the favorite this season, while Seattle is 2-3 ATS as an underdog and 3-2 ATS as the visiting team.

Game total, team total have gone Over in 9 of last 10 at Dallas
Dallas has topped 40 points in its last three at home and has scored at least 27 inside AT&T Stadium dating back to Week 8 of the 2022 season.
In 2023, the Cowboys lead the league with 31.5 points per contest, while the Seahawks rank 22nd in points allowed (22.6) and 23rd in yards surrendered (348.5).
The Over has also hit in six of the last seven Cowboys games off a win and four of the last five at Dallas. The Over is 3-1 in Seattle's last four coming off a loss, as well.
However, in prime-time games, the Under has cashed 74.36% of the time this season, and as of Thursday morning the Under had drawn a majority of bets and 99% of the money. With the Seahawks likely to struggle on offense against a top-five D and with running back Kenneth Walker III doubtful, a smarter bet may be on Dallas' team total.
The Seahawks have allowed 30 or more points in four games this season, including last week. Back Dallas Over 29.5 points (-108).
Dallas first-half team total has gone Over in last 10 at home
Look for the Cowboys to come out firing on offense at home, where the Over on their team total has hit in each of their last 10 inside AT&T Stadium.
You can currently get plus odds on Dallas' first-half team total (+102 Over 14.5) and in the Cowboys' home games this season, they have put up at least 18 points before heading to the locker room.
Last week, Seattle dug itself into a 24-3 hole by halftime, and it's likely to happen again.
Not only does Dallas rank first in first-half points this season (19.5), but the Cowboys have entered halftime with at least an eight-point lead in each of their homes games in 2023.
Back the Over on Dallas' first-half team total (14.5) and lay the points with Dallas in the first half as well (-6.5).
