Super Bowl LV live blog: Brady cements GOAT status with 7th championship
Brady shines on footballβs biggest stage
Tom Brady eliminated any doubt about his status as the greatest quarterback of all time on Sunday night by capturing his seventh Super Bowl title. The 43-year-old signal caller went 21-for-29 for 201 yards and three touchdowns and staked the Bucs to an early lead they never relinquished. The performance earned TB12 his record fifth Super Bowl MVP award.

3rd Quarter: Mahomes throws a pick
Patrick Mahomes' struggles are continuing after throwing an interception to Antoine Winfield. The Super Bowl LIV MVP is now 11-for-23 for just 75 yards.

Super Bowl Sunday is finally here! The defending champion Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will face off at Super Bowl LV at Raymond James Stadium tonight at 6:30 p.m. ET.
The most anticipated football matchup of the year will pit last yearβs Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes against six-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady.
Mahomes guided his team to a No. 1 seed in the playoffs, after Kansas City achieved a league-best 14-2 record.
Brady, on the other hand, got off to a slow start in his first season with Tampa Bay. It wasnβt until a 27-24 loss to Kansas City in Week 12 that TB and his team seemed to find a rhythm. Following their bye week, the Bucs finished on a four-win streak to close out the regular season and won three straight road playoff games to reach Sundayβs contest.

— NFL on CBS π (@NFLonCBS) February 3, 2021
The fifth-seeded Bucs will enter as a three-point underdog in Super Bowl LV. This is only the second time in Bradyβs record 10 Super Bowl appearances that his team is an underdog. The first time occurred in 2001, Bradyβs first year as a starter, when his New England Patriots defeated the Saint Louis Ramsβ high-octane offense, known as "The Greatest Show on Turf."
In order for Tampa Bay to win its second Super Bowl in franchise history, Brady and his Bucs must stop another dynamic offense in the Chiefs.
