SNF Week 6: Rams vs. 49ers odds, preview & prediction
The Los Angeles Rams (4-1) are riding high heading into this matchup with the San Francisco 49ers (8:20 p.m. ET, NBC) off a 30-10 win against Washington. The Niners, apparently suffering a Super Bowl hangover, have dropped to 2-3 following a puzzling 43-17 loss to the Dolphins. Can the 49ers bounce back, or will the Rams keep on rolling?

Jared Goff’s career year is powering Rams offense
L.A. signal caller Jared Goff is looking more and more like a No. 1 overall draft pick this season after an uneven first four years in the NFL. Goff is currently enjoying career-highs in completion percentage (71.7), yards per attempt (9.0) and passer rating (108.8).

He’s been helped by the three-headed monster in the Rams backfield – namely Darrell Henderson Jr., Malcolm Brown, and Cam Akers – that have led a rushing attack accounting for 139.6 yards per game (seventh in the league).
Is Jimmy G ready for the Rams’ rush?
Whether it's Jimmy Garoppolo, C.J. Beathard, or Nick Mullens lining up under center for the Niners, San Francisco’s signal caller will be in for a long night. L.A. has registered an NFL-high 20 sacks through five games, with defensive tackle Aaron Donald accounting for a league-high 7.5 sacks on his own. The 49ers O-line has surrendered 18 sacks, the fourth-most in football in the same span.

Garoppolo not the only Niner ailing
In addition to Garoppolo (probable, ankle), there are some key 49ers on the injury report for Sunday’s tilt.
Cornerback Kwon Alexander is listed as questionable with a potential high-ankle sprain. His absence would further test a San Francisco defense that’s been doing without cornerback Richard Sherman and linemen Nick Bosa and Dee Ford.
The Rams' injury sheet is light by comparison. Linebacker Ogbonnia Okoronkwo and safety Jordan Fuller could miss this game after getting injured in Week 5.
