The Minnesota Vikings (1-3) handled the hapless Texans for their first win of the season in Week 4, but will they be able to keep up with a solid Seattle Seahawks (4-0) squad on Sunday night? Here’s our betting preview for this primetime affair beginning at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.
Wilson, Seahawks running wild on offense
Only the Packers have produced more points per game (38) than the Seahawks (35.5) through four weeks. Quarterback Russell Wilson has been the catalyst for the third-ranked offense by yards per game in the NFL. He leads all eligible passers in completion percentage (75.2) and yards per attempt (9.4) while sporting a 16-2 touchdown-interception ratio.

Seattle’s defense should stymie Dalvin Cook
Dalvin Cook, the NFL’s leading rusher through four games (424 yards), has given Vikings fans a glimmer of hope in 2020. He’s accounted for six TDs this season – the most of any running back in the NFL – but could have a hard time establishing himself in this one. Seattle boasts one of the league’s best rush defenses, ranking third with just 75.8 yards allowed per game.

Both teams dealing with injuries in the secondary
Sensational Seahawks safety Jamal Adams has been ruled out for Sunday’s game with a groin injury, while Vikings cornerback Kris Boyd is questionable with a hamstring injury.
The trends favor the Seahawks
The Seahawks has covered in four straight games to start the 2020 campaign and are 6-1-1 against the spread in their last eight games as the favorite.
