SNF Week 16: Titans vs. Packers odds, preview, and pick
An important interconference tilt will take place at Lambeau Field on Sunday night (8:20 p.m. ET, NBC) as the Tennessee Titans (10-4) visit the Green Bay Packers (11-3). The Titans could wrap up the AFC South crown, while the Packers could clinch the No. 1 seed in the NFC with a win and some help. Let’s look for the best available bet in this primetime clash.
Titans offense firing on all cylinders
Tennessee brings the No. 1-rated offense in the NFL (31.1 points per game) into this tilt. Since being held to 17 points by the Indianapolis Colts in Week 10, the Titans have averaged 37.4 points over their last five games. They’re 4-1 straight-up and against the spread in that span.

Halfback Derrick Henry is having a sensational season, but quarterback Ryan Tannehill deserves his share of praise as well. The Texas A&M product is completing 66.5% of his passes in 2020 for 8.1 yards per attempt. Tannehill has tossed 31 touchdown passes (fifth among all quarterbacks) compared to only five interceptions.
Packers persevered against Panthers last week
It wasn’t pretty, but Green Bay managed a 24-16 victory over the Carolina Panthers in Week 15 to extend their winning streak to four games.
Record breaking Aaron Rodgers throws his 40th TD this season. With the touchdown Rodgers became the only quarterback to ever throw 40 touchdown passes in the three different NFL seasons.#GoPackGo #NFL #NFLTwitter #NFLTalk

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers added another touchdown to his league-leading total of 40 in that heat. Rodgers should appreciate another advantageous matchup on Sunday, as the Titans bring their 29th-rated pass stoppers into this affair.

Derrick Henry, Aaron Jones should see tons of action
Lambeau Field will live up to its “Frozen Tundra” nickname on Sunday night, if the National Weather Service forecast holds true. Assuming that’s the case, the Titans’ Henry and the Packers’ Aaron Jones will make their respective presences felt in this one.
Henry is the NFL’s leading rusher in 2020 (1,679 yards), and also boasts the most carries (321) and rushing touchdowns (15) in the league. In a game where “the rock” may actually feel like one, Henry should receive plenty of touches and kill some game clock.

Jones has amassed no fewer than 15 carries in each of his last four games, and is fourth in the league in rushing yards this season (968). Green Bay will not go quietly in the battle for possession on Sunday night.
One important trend could dictate this tilt
The Under has cashed in seven straight December games involving the Packers. Even with Rodgers at his best, it’s tough for Green Bay (and their opponents) to generate significant offense in cold weather.
The Titans have been an Over bettor’s best friend going back over two seasons (Over/Under record of 20-6-1 in their last 27 overall), but even they will likely be swept up in this strong Packers trend.
The outcome of this one looks like a coin flip, but there appears to be plenty of value with the Under on Sunday night.
Score prediction: Packers 27, Titans 24
NFL pick: Under 51.5 points
