SNF Week 11: Chiefs vs. Raiders odds, preview, and pick
The Kansas City Chiefs (8-1) will attempt to avenge their only loss of the season when they head to Allegiant Stadium to take on the Las Vegas Raiders (6-3) on Sunday Night Football (8:20 p.m. ET, NBC).
The Week 5 matchup between these two clubs at Arrowhead Stadium was a barn-burner, as the Raiders overcame a 21-10 deficit, eventually jumping out to a 40-24 advantage before holding on defensively for the 40-32 victory.
Will the Week 11 meeting between these two AFC West opponents play out similarly, or will Kansas City cash in as sizable favorites? Here’s our betting preview.
These teams have trended similarly since their last meeting
The Chiefs are 4-0 since their Week 5 defeat, while the Raiders are 3-1. Both teams hold a 3-1 ATS record in that span.
Kansas City had the softer schedule over the last four games, facing teams with a combined record of 13-25 heading into Week 11. Las Vegas’ combined opponent record from their most recent four-game stretch was 18-21.
Is there any stopping Patrick Mahomes?
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been incredibly efficient in his last four games, tossing 12 touchdowns and no interceptions. He completed 71.3% of his passes in that span for 8.9 yards per attempt.

It’s difficult to envision the Raiders’ 25th-ranked pass stoppers (264.9 yards allowed per game) giving Mahomes significant trouble on Sunday night. This unit certainly wasn’t helped by a mid-week positive COVID-19 test for defensive end Clelin Ferrell, as the organization was forced to place seven additional players on the "reserve" list as a precaution due to contact tracing. Those seven players could still suit up on Sunday, albeit without any practice time under their belts.

Kansas City Chiefs | 294.7 (1st) | 114.3 (14th) | 215.7 (8th) | 138.4 (29th) |
Las Vegas Raiders | 230.8 (21st) | 139.2 (7th) | 264.9 (25th) | 112.7 (13th) |
Josh Jacobs will be vital to the Vegas offense
Raiders running back Josh Jacobs has made quarterback Derek Carr’s job much easier this season, as he’s currently fourth in the NFL in rushing yards (700). He’s fresh off one of his better efforts of the year against the Denver Broncos, in which he tallied 112 yards on 21 carries with two touchdowns.

Jacobs ran for 77 yards on 23 carries and found the end zone twice against the Chiefs earlier this season. Kansas City’s rush defense is a lackluster 29th in yards allowed per game on the ground (138.4).
Several Raiders trends suggest Over bettors will cash
The Over is 6-2-1 in Raiders games this year, and 5-0-1 in Las Vegas’ last six games as home underdogs. In the last seven meetings between these two teams away from Arrowhead Stadium, the Over has gone 5-2.
Predicted score: Chiefs 34, Raiders 31
NFL pick: Over
