Saints vs. Raiders: The best betting props for MNF
Viva Las Vegas! The NFL’s first game in Allegiant Stadium is set to kick off on Monday Night as Drew Brees leads the Saints into Sin City to take on the Raiders. Both teams are coming off high scoring victories in Week 1. The Saints put a damper on Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay debut, while the Raiders took down CMC and the Panthers.
Here are the best prop bets for the Week 2 Monday Night Football game between the Saints and Raiders.
Drew Brees passing yards
Has there ever been a quarterback that shines brighter on Monday Night Football than Drew Brees? In his 25 career games on Monday night, he has averaged over 302.2 passing yards per game. Here you are getting the number at 262.5 passing yards.
Brees only failed to reach this number in one of his last eight MNF games, and four of his last 12 games overall. The last time the Saints faced the Raiders on Sept. 11, 2016, Brees threw for 423 passing yards in a loss.
The Raiders allowed 269 passing yards to Teddy Bridgewater last week. Drew Brees will be a much tougher task for this defense, even though NOLA will be without Michael Thomas. I expect him to be able to get others more involved and spread the ball around the football field. Give me the Over.
Pick: Over 262.5 yards (-115)
Josh Jacobs rushing yards
In Week 1 against the Panthers, Josh Jacobs managed to rack up 95 yards rushing on 25 carries. The big stat there is 25 carries. Volume is key for these prop bets and there is no doubt that Jacobs will get his. In his 14 career games in the NFL, Jacobs has averaged just over 19 carries per game. With this number at 65.5, he only needs to average 3.4 yards per carry if he gets his average of 19 carries. Jacobs averages 4.7 yards per carry in his 14 game career.

The only two times in Jacobs’ career that he failed to reach this number, the Raiders lost those two games by a combined 51 points. Las Vegas has learned its lesson and will feed Jacobs the ball.
The Saints only allowed 86 yards rushing to the Bucs last week, but Tampa Bay was rolling out Ronald Jones, a well past-his-prime LeSean McCoy, and Leonard Fournette, who had just joined the team seven days prior. Jacobs will be a much tougher task and I like the Over here.
Pick: Over 65.5 yards (-150)
Anytime touchdown scorer
I love trying to find value in prop bets. This particular prop provides a ton of value if you can find someone outside the box of usual names. I already mentioned that I believe Brees will spread the ball around with Thomas missing from this matchup. This is where I will find that value.
Even though Emmanuel Sanders and Tre'Quan Smith are the players you would expect to step up in Thomas’ absence, I have my eyes on emerging star Deonte Harris. Harris got a carry and a catch in Week 1 even with Thomas present.
This route by Deonte Harris was filthy 🤧

Not only will Harris be more involved in the passing game, but also he made the Pro Bowl last season as a return man. Harris is still the punt returner and has a chance to get into the end zone on special teams as well.
Pick: Deonte Harris (+600)
