Ravens vs. Raiders: The best player prop bets for MNF
The first Monday Night Football clash should be full of offensive firepower, as Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens visit Derek Carr and the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN).
If there’s lots of scoring, that should mean plenty of player props going “Over.” We’ve come up with three player props that we’re particularly bullish on – let’s get started.
Derek Carr Over/Under 33.5 Total Pass Attempts
We’re not going to declare that the Raiders will be forced to throw often in an attempt to play catch-up late on Monday night, but this line simply seems to low. Carr should eclipse 33.5 pass attempts in this one.
Think we're still sleeping on Derek Carr's arm talent tbh 🎯 @derekcarrqb @Raiders pic.twitter.com/WGsFsJYKRe

Carr started all 16 games in 2020 and averaged 32.1 pass attempts per game, but there were some notable exceptions. He threw only five times before leaving in the first quarter with a groin injury in Week 15, and only 24 times in a Week 8 win over the Cleveland Browns, the game in which NFL fans learned what “graupel” was.
Carr threw at least 34 times in the last five games of the season in which he played all four quarters. He shouldn’t be afraid to test the Ravens defense sans cornerback Marcus Peters.
NFL pick: Over (-105)
Josh Jacobs Over/Under 64.5 Total Rushing & Receiving Yards
Eighth in total rushing (1,065 yards) a year ago despite missing a game, Las Vegas tailback Josh Jacobs should be a key contributor to the Raiders’ offense on Monday night, win or lose.
The #Raiders will likely lean on Josh Jacobs early in the season as the Oline’s pass pro develops. He shed 8lbs in the offseason & should look even more fluid than he did early last year before dealing w/ leg injuries. #RaiderNation pic.twitter.com/KgsqM4cME1

Jacobs gained more than 64.5 yards on the ground alone in each of last three starts of 2020, and 10 out of 15 games overall. He also averaged just over two receptions per game a year ago for 7.2 yards per catch.
Prop bettors shouldn’t have to sweat this one out too long.
NFL pick: Over (-114)
Lamar Jackson Over/Under 1.5 Total Touchdown Passes Thrown
Jackson may not drop back to pass nearly as often as most of his colleagues, but he makes his throws count. Bettors should rely on him to toss two or more touchdowns on Monday night, something he did in four of his last five regular season games in 2020.

Jackson was tied for third in touchdown % a year ago at 6.9 after leading the league in 2019 at 9.0. With the Ravens down to undrafted rookie Ty’Son Williams as their starting running back, the onus will be on Jackson to create opportunities for Baltimore.
NFL pick: Over (+118)
