Rams vs. Seahawks: TNF odds market update
Matthew Stafford and Russell Wilson will meet for the first time as NFC West rivals, and just the fifth time in their careers, in Week 5's Thursday Night Football matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks.
Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. ET at Seattle's Lumen Field, where the Seahawks are 0-1 this season.
The home team will enter as a 2.5-point underdog against a 3-1 Rams team that ranks in the top six in passing yards and points per game, but has experienced concerning regression on defense.
Los Angeles suffered its first loss of the season against NFC West leader Arizona in a 37-20 battering at SoFi Stadium in Week 4.
With a short week to prepare, the Rams will attempt to snap back in form against a difficult division opponent, and bettors appear confident they will succeed in that effort.
Below we analyze how the public is betting the moneyline, point spread, totals, and more at TwinSpires Sports, ahead of the Rams vs. Seahawks on Thursday Night Football.

While the Rams have lost their last two regular-season games in Seattle, they defeated the Seahawks in their most recent meeting at Lumen Field in last year’s Wild Card Round.
In that playoff contest, L.A.'s pass rush got after Wilson and sacked him five times, while the veteran quarterback was held to 174 passing yards.
Jared Goff captained the Rams offense for most of the game, but is now a member of the Detroit Lions, who traded Stafford to Los Angeles in exchange for Goff in the offseason.

Stafford is off to a hot start with his new offense. He ranks second in the league in touchdown passes (11) and fourth in passing yards (1,222), and will confront a Seattle defense that ranks 28th against the pass and dead last in total yards allowed.
Both teams' offenses will be difficult to contain, but the Rams hold the advantage, especially with Seahawks running back Chris Carson questionable with a neck injury.
In Sean McVay's tenure as L.A.'s head coach, he is 6-3 all-time against Pete Carroll.
Sixty-seven percent of all betting handle and tickets placed at TwinSpires Sports are backing McVay's Rams to win outright on Thursday night.

Percentage of handle | 67% | 33% |
Bettors are bullish on the Rams to cover the small, 2.5-point spread as road favorites as well.
Los Angeles is 10-4-1 ATS in its last 15 games against the NFC West and 5-1 ATS in its last six following a straight-up loss.
Seattle is 8-1-2 ATS in its last 11 Thursday night matchups, but 2-5 ATS in its last seven games overall.
The Rams are also 4-1 ATS in their last five meetings with the Seahawks.

As for the points total, bettors expect a high-scoring shootout in primetime.
Although just 54% of tickets were placed on the Over, 72% of all handle is on the combined score to surpass 54 points.
The Over is 6-0 in the Rams' last six games overall and 4-1 in these teams' last five matchups in Seattle.
Most popular prop bet: Russell Wilson Under 1.5 TDs
In keeping with the theme of a Rams win, bettors feel Wilson will struggle against L.A.'s pass defense, which ranked first in the league last season but has dropped to 25th in 2021.
Nonetheless, the Rams surrender an average of just one passing touchdown per game.
Wilson has thrown for two or more scores in all but one game (in Week 3's loss to Minnesota) this season.
More than 80% of tickets and 56% of handle bet on Wilson's passing touchdowns total is siding with the Under.
Wilson scored twice through the air in last year's Wild Card loss against L.A., but has averaged 0.3 touchdown passes against the Rams in his last three regular-season meetings.
