Rams vs. Seahawks: The best betting props for Wild Card Weekend
The Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks will face-off in one of two NFC Wild Card games on Saturday, Jan. 9.
The Seahawks enter the game having won six of their last seven, but will miss their home crowd advantage with no fans in attendance at Lumen Field due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The Rams have lost three of their last six games, and are playing coy about who will start at quarterback after Jared Goff missed Week 17 following surgery to his right thumb.
Here are the three best prop bets for Rams vs. Seahawks.
Anytime touchdown
Cam Akers reportedly took part in a full practice Wednesday, which is good news for the Rams as they look to kickstart their offense.
The situation is less clear when it comes to quarterback Jared Goff.
The Seahawks defense, which had been good against the run this season, has improved in general over the past few weeks, showing an ability to get more pressure on the quarterback.
There will be questions about the health of Goff and his ability to throw the ball so quickly after surgery to repair a dislocated thumb. The Rams might try to rely far more on the run game, and if they get into the red zone, could Akers – who saw an increase in touches late in his rookie season – become a threat to score?

The Seahawks allowed only 3.9 yards per carry, but they also conceded 18 rushing touchdowns this season. Akers, if fully healthy and available to play, may get his shot at scoring one on Saturday.
Pick: Cam Akers anytime touchdown (+140)
Russell Wilson passing yards
The shine of a potential Most Valuable Player season for Russell Wilson has faded in recent weeks. The mantra of "Let Russ Cook" has also cooled down after his red-hot start.
Wilson faces a difficult L.A. defense that gave up the fewest passing yards in the NFL during the regular season (6.2 yards per attempt). The Rams also totalled 14 interceptions and 53 quarterback sacks (second-best in the NFL).
As of Thursday, the total for Russell Wilson passing yards was 253.5, with the Under at odds of -110 at BetAmerica, compared to odds of -120 for the Over.

Wilson hasn’t surpassed 250 pass yards in a game since Week 13, and now he will be facing a ferocious pass defense.
We’re not saying Wilson can’t be efficient when throwing under 250 yards. He can still leave his mark and lead the Seahawks to victory with a mistake-free game. But this specific Under would’ve hit in each of the previous two meetings against the Rams in the regular season, and that would appear to be the better play this weekend, too.
Pick: Russell Wilson Under 253.5 passing yards (-110)
Chris Carson receiving yards
Here we go from the Under on Russell Wilson Pass Yards to the Over on a Seahawks player’s receiving yards.
Chris Carson has reportedly gotten the all-clear to play this weekend, despite a nagging foot injury.
Carson should be incredibly motivated. His contract is coming to an end, and the shelf life for running backs in the NFL is limited. If ever he wanted to have a Marshawn Lynch type of playoff performance, this would be the time.
A bruising runner, Carson is also productive catching the ball out of the backfield.

If the Seahawks can’t get much going between Wilson and his cast of receivers through the air, there may be some targets available for Carson through check-downs or screen passes. He’s shown that once he secures the ball, and gets one or two key blocks, he can turn those quick throws into decent gains.
Pick: Chris Carson Over 19.5 receiving yards (-115)
