Packers vs. 49ers: The best player prop bets for SNF
Two of the NFL’s most storied franchises – the Green Bay Packers and the San Francisco 49ers – will square off at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA this Sunday night.
In addition to sides and totals, there’s also a litany of player props available for this high-profile Week 3 contest. Let’s dive into a trio of them below.
Green Bay Packers (1-1) at San Francisco 49ers (2-0), 8:20 p.m. ET, NBC
Touchdown scorer: Deebo Samuel
To hear the experts tell it in preseason, the 49ers’ offense was supposed to be driven by Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle. But so far, it’s been the forgotten man – Deebo Samuel – who’s been Jimmy Garoppolo’s favorite target.

Samuel had a career-high 189 yards and a touchdown on nine catches (12 targets) in a Week 1 victory against the Detroit Lions. He followed that up with six catches (eight targets) and 89 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles, though he was held out of the end zone in a 17-11 triumph.
Samuel looks like a good bet to register a touchdown in his first home game of 2021, as he faces a Packers defense that’s allowed seven passing scores through two games (second-most in football). Give a look at the Over on his receiving lines (66.5 yards, 5.5 receptions) as well.

Aaron Jones Over/Under 56.5 rushing yards
Aaron Jones proved that his disastrous effort in Week 1 (22 all-purpose yards) was a total fluke last Monday, as he gashed the Lions for four touchdowns and 115 all-purpose yards, 67 of which came on the ground.

Jones eclipsed 56.5 rushing yards in 10 of the 14 games he suited up for in 2020, including his 58-yard performance in a 34-17 victory over these 49ers on Nov. 5. San Francisco’s stoppers have surrendered 5.0 yards per carry through two games, tied for fourth-worst in the NFL in that span.
We won’t call for another four-touchdown game for Jones, but his rushing total line is more than attainable.
NFL pick: Over
George Kittle Over/Under 61.5 receiving yards
After a disappointing, injury-shortened 2020 campaign, George Kittle has gotten off to an uneven start in 2021.
He was able to find some seams in the Lions’ defense in Week 1, going for 78 yards on only four grabs. But when held to the same amount of receptions against the Eagles, Kittle managed a mere 17 yards.

Green Bay boasted one of the league’s stingiest defenses when it came to tight end production in 2020, allowing only 44.5 yards per game (seventh). Bettors should be bearish about Kittle on Sunday night.
