NFL Week 13: Eagles vs. Packers odds, preview, and pick
Two teams trending in different directions will meet at Lambeau Field on Sunday afternoon (4:25 p.m. ET, CBS) as the slumping Philadelphia Eagles (3-7-1) visit the surging Green Bay Packers (8-3).
Can the Eagles alter their fortunes and stay afloat in the NFC East race, or will the Packers cruise to another easy victory? Here’s our wagering preview.
The Packers carry momentum into Sunday
Green Bay is fresh off a convincing 41-25 victory over the Chicago Bears last Sunday. It was the Packers’ third triumph in their last four games, and an all-around excellent performance.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers tossed four touchdown passes, running backs Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams combined for 163 rushing yards, and the Packers’ stoppers forced three turnovers.
Green Bay now enjoys a three-game lead in the NFC North over the Minnesota Vikings.
The Eagles have looked like lame ducks lately
Philadelphia managed a paltry 250 yards of offense against one of the softer defenses in the NFL in a 23-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night. Fifty-eight of those yards came on a “garbage time” drive that only served to help Eagles bettors eke out a cover.
Quarterback Carson Wentz added an interception to his league-leading total (15) in Week 12. Only Drew Lock and Sam Darnold have a lower passer rating than Wentz (73.4) this year (min. five starts).
For what it’s worth, tight end Zack Ertz (ankle) is on track to make his first appearance since Oct. 18.
The Packers’ attack should overwhelm the Eagles’ defense
No team has put up more points per game than the Packers in 2020 (31.7). Rodgers, tops in the NFL in passer rating (117.6), headmans a balanced Green Bay assault.
But Jones’ impact on the ground is not to be underestimated. He should be able to establish himself against Philly’s 23rd-rated run stoppers (128.2 yards allowed per game). That in turn should aid Rodgers when he decides to go through the air.

Bettors should monitor the health of Eagles’ defensive tackle Fletcher Cox, who missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday with a neck injury. He’s tallied a sack in four straight games.
Eagles and Packers statistics and rankings
Team | Passing Yards | Rushing Yards | Passing Yards Allowed | Rushing Yards Allowed |

Trends say lay the points with the Packers
The Eagles have failed to cover in eight of their 11 games this season, and four of their last five played on the road.
The Packers have covered in five of their last seven games as home favorites, and are 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games against conference opponents.
Score prediction: Packers 31, Eagles 14
NFL pick: Packers -9
