NFL Week 13: Cowboys vs. Ravens odds, preview, and pick
The Dallas Cowboys (3-8) and Baltimore Ravens (6-5) will bring down the curtain on Week 13 of the NFL season Tuesday night.
The Cowboys enter the game on 11 days’ rest, compared to the Ravens’ five, and Baltimore has been dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak in its facility.
Will Dallas be able to make up the gap in talent? Here’s our betting preview.
Dallas Cowboys vs. Baltimore Ravens
Lamar Jackson is back
The main culprit for the Ravens’ Wednesday afternoon loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 12 was the lack of production from their quarterback unit.
Aside from a 70-yard touchdown pass to Marquise Brown, Baltimore’s aerial attack — under the direction of Robert Griffin III and Trace McSorley — was stagnant. Yet the Ravens lost by only five points to the last undefeated team in the league.

Lamar Jackson’s return from the reserve/COVID-19 list is a welcome sign for a Ravens team that has lost four of its last five games. Jackson should feast on a Cowboys defense that ranks last in the NFL in points allowed per game (32.6), even with go-to tight end Mark Andrews unlikely to suit up.

While Jackson and the Ravens have experienced growing pains this year, it’s been a fun ride.
With five games left to make a playoff push, Jackson has to step up.

The Cowboys looked like turkeys on Thanksgiving
A 41-16 loss to the hated Washington Football Team in Week 12 added kindling to the dumpster fire of head coach Mike McCarthy's first year in Dallas.

The Cowboys have dropped five of their last six games since quarterback Dak Prescott’s season-ending injury and have scored 19 points or fewer in each loss. Dallas’ probable starter at quarterback, Andy Dalton, has a 77.5 passer rating this year.
Ravens have extensive injury report
Depth in the secondary could be an issue for Baltimore. Safeties Chuck Clark and DeShon Elliott, along with cornerbacks Jimmy Smith and Davontae Harris, are all considered questionable.
The Cowboys are also ailing a bit, with offensive linemen Zack Martin and Cameron Erving out for Tuesday. Defensive end Aldon Smith leads a cast of four on the other side of the ball considered questionable.

Trends say take the Under
The Under seems like the best bet on the board for Tuesday night, and the trends support that strategy.
The Cowboys have gone below the total in eight of their last 10 road games against teams with winning home records. The Under is 17-8 in Dallas’ last 25 games as a road underdog.
The Under is also 7-3 in the Ravens’ last 10 games as a home favorite.
Score prediction: Ravens 24, Cowboys 17
NFL pick: Under 45
