NFL: Week 1 Sunday afternoon picks and predictions
The NFL is officially back and we couldn't be more excited! Join me as I boldly predict the results of every Week 1 game from Sunday afternoon.
Tennessee Titans at Cleveland Browns (-6)
The Browns brought in a lot of talent this off season to add to the additions of 2018. Titans QB Marcus Mariota has a tough time on the road and while I’m against Cleveland long term, I’ll take them herePick: Cleveland -6
Baltimore Ravens (-7) at Miami Dolphins
I’ve seen this movie before where everyone bets against the tanking team. But Baltimore isn’t strong either. I think Miami wins this game outright.Pick: Miami Moneyline
Atlanta Falcons at Minnesota Vikings (-4)
Vikings QB Kirk Cousins and his playmakers will be too much for Atlanta here. It will be an up and down game but Minnesota covers.Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins enters potential crossroad season for career.

Pick: Minnesota -4
Buffalo Bills at New York Jets (-2.5)
The Jets look to have their best team in five years, but work still needs to be done. New York needs to claim a victory here before their schedule gets considerably tougher.Pick: Jets (-2.5)
Washington Redskins at Philadelphia Eagles (-10.5)
Washington is bad. Very, very bad. They will not be able to go into hostile territory and compete with this squad of veterans in Philly. Absolute blowout winner.Pick: Philadelphia -10.5
Los Angeles Rams (+1) at Carolina Panthers
I do believe the Rams are the better team, but this line smells. All the sucker money will be on the defending NFC Conference Champion and the line still sits at +1. Do not take the bait. Take the PanthersPick: Carolina +1
Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5) at Jacksonville Jaguars
If this game was in Week 15 and both teams were primed, I might take KC. But it’s Week 1, and we can’t expect the high-powered Kansas City offense to be fully cranked."First of all, I'm glad he's playing. He's great for the National Football League," Andy Reid with high praise for Jaguars QB Nick Foles.

Jacksonville added Nick Foles and still holds one of the league's best defenses.
Pick: Jacksonville +3.5
Indianapolis Colts at Los Angeles Chargers (-7)
Los Angeles has a great team, but negative publicity has cost them, and disgruntled RB Melvin Gordon is all but finished with the team.Jacoby Brissett is no Andrew Luck, but he can get it done and the Colts can keep this one close.
Pick: Indianapolis +7
Cincinnati Bengals at Seattle Seahawks (9.5)
Cincinnati will struggle to win all year and going into Seattle will really test their will.Seattle inked up All Pro QB Russell Wilson and made some key additions on both sides, including their recent trade for Jadeveon Clowney. They aren’t what they once were, but they have the potential to keep Cincinnati off the scoreboard.
Pick: Seattle -9.5
New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys (-7)
This game is usually decided by three points every time. Dallas has the better team with the better future, but this is Week 1. The Giants will cover.Pick: New York Giants +7
Detroit Lions (-2.5) at Arizona Cardinals
The Kyler Murray era begins here and expect a lot of short passes and runs. Detroit is improved and let’s see if head coach Matt Patricia can come up with a game plan to successfully contain Murray.Pick: Detroit -2.5
San Francisco 49ers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-2)
The media would lead you to believe that San Francisco has a great offense. That may be true in a few years, but not now. The team still has too may young receivers with too little experience.Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston is playing for his career. Count on Tampa Bay ganging up on Jimmy Garoppolo and pulling out the win.
Pick: Tampa Bay -2
