YOUBET 4-Team Teaser, +260:
Cincinnati +7/Jacksonville +5/Tampa Bay-Indianapolis Over 38/Cleveland-Denver Under 46.5
Cincinnati Bengals +7
Jake Browning appeared competent replacing Joe Burrow last week, leading a pair of lengthy scoring drives in the second half against a formidable Baltimore defense, and Pittsburgh’s offense has fallen apart. Outside of Jalen’s Warren’s 75-yard run early in the third quarter, the Steelers struggled in all aspects offensively last week. They’ve been low scoring all year (16.6 points per game) because of their lack of balance, with Kenny Pickett lacking any confidence presently as the passing offense has slipped to second worst in the league. Pittsburgh won’t suddenly turn things around in Week 12. The Steelers' defense may keep them in the game, but Cincinnati has the personnel to defeat a slumping conference foe, and we’ll grab the points in a teaser.
Jacksonville Jaguars +5
Revenge setting for Jacksonville, which showed up flat and was never competitive losing 37-17 to Houston at home in Week 3. That performance has undoubtedly been a rallying cry for the Jaguars, who have been dominant in three other divisional games and won six of their last seven. Houston has exceeded expectations with a 6-4 record, but the Texans can be inconsistent (losing to Carolina 15-13 in Week 8) and will play to the level of their opponent, winning their last three games by narrow margins. Look for a tightly contested matchup.
Tampa Bay-Indianapolis Over 38
Tampa Bay has covered four straight as the offense displays more direction, crushing Tennessee and staying competitive with Buffalo, Houston, and San Francisco over the last four weeks. But the Buccaneers secondary has been banged up and exposed. And they will give up points on the road. Indianapolis ranks 26th in scoring defense (24.8 points per game) and ninth in scoring offense (24.2), and the Colts run the ball effectively and take advantage of red-zone opportunities while surrendering a lot of points. We like the Over.
Cleveland-Denver Under 46.5
Denver has won four straight, the league’s best win streak, and the last three have come over teams with a winning record (Kansas City, Buffalo, and Minnesota). Defense is a big part of the Broncos' resurgence. In their last five games, including two against Kansas City, the Broncos have not allowed more than 24 points, surrendering only 17.4 points per game, and they’ll slow down a Cleveland offense that has scored only 16 points in two games that rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson has started. The Browns ranks first in pass defense and sixth in scoring defense, the stop unit is playing at a high level presently, and this projects to be a low-scoring affair.
