Expert Super Bowl Picks
Kyle: 49ers +1.5 and Under 54 I’ve felt all season that the 49ers were the best team in the NFL, and if I have the chance to grab them as a dog against Andy Reid in the Super Bowl, I’m doing it. Kyle Shanahan was the brains behind the Falcons' Super Bowl run and it isn't a mistake that his 49ers are here now. He’s a phenomenal coach who now has a league-leading defense. Speaking of which, I feel like that keeps the KC offense in check and we see a low scoring game.Liam: Kansas City -1.5 and Under 54 As impressive as San Francisco has been this year, Kansas City has ripped the spotlight away in every comparable occasion. Slowing down Derrick Henry seemed impossible, but the Chiefs found a way and that should give them a boost in confidence ahead of facing a run-happy Niners offense. San Fran’s defense is dominant, but it hasn’t faced an offense like this before. Not one that’s posted 12 touchdowns in two games. It’s tricky to separate these two juggernauts, but I really think Big Red will finally get his elusive Super Bowl ring.
There’s every chance this turns into a shootout, but in that same vein, do you really want to give Patrick Mahomes the ball? The Niners would be wise to continue their keepaway concourse, while Andy Reid thrives in dominating the time of possession. The under is the contrarian play, but the more enticing one.
