The NFL regular season will be here before you know it. Check BetAmerica's updated odds on NFL Futures.
Super Bowl LIV Odds
New England Patriots +600 and Kansas City Chiefs +600
The Patriots and Chiefs offer the lowest odds to win the Super Bowl.New England must find a way to replace retired tight end Rob Gronkowski, one of Tom Brady's favorite targets, but questions surround Kansas City, as well. Wide receiver Tyreek Hill might be suspended for the entire season, if not longer. The Chiefs will also start two new defensive ends this season, in Alex Okafor and Frank Clark.
Check out Super Bowl LIV odds and a quick thought on four other Super Bowl contenders:
New Orleans Saints +800
If Drew Brees plays at a high level again, the Saints might be an overlay.Los Angeles Rams +800
Now with Super Bowl experience, the Rams figure to be even better in 2019. It should also help that wide receiver Cooper Kupp is healthy this season.Indianapolis Colts +1000
The Colts' odds have declined steadily since mid-February. Indianapolis is the hottest team in Super Bowl futures.Los Angeles Chargers +1600
The Chargers look loaded on both sides of the ball. They should challenge the Chiefs in the AFC West.NFL Regular Season Win Totals
Cleveland Browns - Over 9 (-120), Under 9 (-110)
The reason Cleveland's regular season win total stands out is because the Browns offer +1400 odds to win the Super Bowl. Only the Rams, Saints, Patriots, Chiefs and Colts offer lower Super Bowl odds. The Browns' Super Bowl odds are the same as the Eagles, Bears and Packers. If Cleveland has any shot at winning the Super Bowl, they should be a lock to win more than nine games. Here are three other teams offering interesting regular season win totals:
Chicago Bears - Under 9.5 (-145), Over 9.5 (+115)
Green Bay is favored to win the NFC North. Chicago won it last season and should be better this season.Dallas Cowboys - Under 9 (-130), Over 9 (+100)
The Cowboys won the NFC East last season, tight end Jason Witten returns from retirement this season and the defense also appears improved.Jacksonville Jaguars - Under 8 (-120), over 8 (-110)
Jacksonville picked two of the top 10 players in the NFL Draft: linebacker Josh Allen and offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor. They also signed Nick Foles to play quarterback.NFL Week 1 Lines
NFL week 1 lines are out. Why waste time? Check out these four intriguing matchups.Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5) at Jacksonville Jaguars
The Chiefs went through some major changes since last season and MVP Patrick Mahomes won't sneak up on defenses this season. The Jaguars look like a solid play. Quarterback Nick Foles is a major step up from Blake Bortles and their defense should be one of the best in the NFL, unless Josh Allen is a bust.
Washington Redskins (+9) at Philadelphia Eagles
Many believe the Eagles have a shot to jump to the top of the NFC again. Carson Wentz should be healthy and they acquired a very good running back in Jordan Howard. The Redskins might start their first-round pick, Dwayne Haskins, at quarterback, and they had an excellent draft. Even though linebacker Reuben Foster might be out for the season, the defense should be just fine after they drafted Montez Sweat.
Indianapolis Colts (+3) at Los Angeles Chargers
The Colts and Chargers have a chance to establish themselves in the first week. Indianapolis signed former Kansas City defensive end Justin Houston and he should improve a quality Colts defense.Chargers tight end Hunter Henry is healthy. If Philip Rivers hasn't lost a step, he and Henry should form a top duo in the NFL this season.
Also healthy for the Bolts is defensive end Joey Bosa. Last year's first round pick didn't suit up until Week 11. He played sparingly when he did finally get on the field and had 5.5 sacks and 18 solo tackles.
Pittsburgh Steelers (+6) at New England Patriots
Both teams head into the season with big questions. Pittsburgh hopes Juju Smith-Schuster can replace Antonio Brown's production. On defense the Steelers expect first-round pick Devin Bush Jr. to make an immediate impact. They traded up in the first round to draft the Michigan linebacker. The Patriots need to replace the production of Rob Gronkowski, but have plenty of experience, as he had many stints on the injury report.
