NFL Draft: Players to Watch

The 2019 NFL Draft is right around the corner (April 25). Here is a list of the top 10 players every fan should watch out for.

1. Kyler Murray, QB, Oklahoma

The 2018 Heisman Trophy winner is an unbelievable athlete who threw for 4,361 yards and 42 touchdowns, and rushed for 1,001 yards and another 12 scores. His most likely fit is the Arizona Cardinals, the team with the top pick. Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury recruited Murray while he was in high school and Kingsbury's air raid system should suit the dual-threat quarterback.

2. Nick Bosa, DE, Ohio State

Bosa only suited up 29 times for the Buckeyes, but he recorded 77 total tackles, 29 tackles for a loss and 17.5 sacks. Every team in the NFL would improve with Bosa. He can play in both the 3-4 and the 4-3 formations, so fitting into a system won't be an issue.

3. Josh Allen, LB, Kentucky

Allen recorded 216 tackles, 38 for a loss, and 31 sacks in his final 39 college football games. The Bednarik Trophy and Bronko Nagurski Trophy winner has drawn comparisons to Von Miller and Kahlil Mack. Like Bosa, there's no team in the league that wouldn't benefit from his skills.

4. Quinnen Williams, DT, Alabama

Williams had 10 sacks and 91 tackles in 25 games while facing double-teams on almost every down. Defensive linemen like Williams fit well on any NFL team, because if they don't start, they help to keep the starters fresh.

5. Devin White, LB, LSU

White is a tackling machine who recorded 286 takedowns in three seasons with LSU, with 8.5 sacks. White would fit with teams that need help stopping the run.

6. Drew Lock, QB, Missouri

Drew Lock had such a great pro day that some believe he's one of the three signal-callers who could be the first quarterback taken in the draft. Lock completed 56.9 percent of his passes and threw for 3,498 yards and 28 touchowns in his final season at Mizzou. The Miami Dolphins are desperate for a quarterback, while the Giants, Bengals, Redskins and Buccaneers are also looking for a signal-caller to groom for the future. He might fit best in Miami, where their current starter is Ryan Fitzpatrick.

7. Jawaan Taylor, T, Florida

Like the best defensive players in the draft, every team could benefit by adding a great offensive tackle. Most experts consider Jawaan Taylor the best in this draft class and depth along the offensive line is necessary for every NFL squad.

8. Montez Sweat, DE, Mississippi State

Sweat had 105 total tackles and 23.5 sacks in 27 games played at Mississippi State. He's another edge rusher who can fit a number of teams. A place with the Detroit Lions and head coach Matt Patricia could be his best spot.

9. D.K. Metcalf, WR, Mississippi State

Metcalf is a 6-foot-3, 228-pound wideout who ran a 4.33-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. He caught 26 passes for 569 yards and five touchdowns last season, but only played in seven games for the Bulldogs. Metcalf had a bad shuttle time and three-cone time (they were slower than Tom Brady's), but most still have him as the top wide receiver on the board. The Dolphins, Buccaneers, and Giants are the ones most desperate for a wide receiver.

10. Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State

In 14 games this season Haskins completed 70 percent of his passes and threw for 4,831 yards and 50 touchdowns. The Buccaneers, Giants, Redskins, Broncos, and Bengals might all target Haskins.
