Uzomah to play in Super Bowl

An anonymous source informed ESPN’s Adam Schefter that C.J. Uzomah will suit up for Super Bowl LVI despite a sprained MCL. He was listed on the Bengals’ final injury report on Friday as “questionable.”

“I’m not missing the biggest game of my life,” Uzomah told reporters after suffering the injury in the AFC Championship Game. “I’m not missing it. That's my approach going every day into rehab.”

In 18 games this season (including the playoffs), Uzomah has totaled 62 catches for 628 yards and six touchdowns.

Drake bets big on Beckham, Rams

Canadian rap star Drake is close friends with Odell Beckham Jr, and he is apparently very confident in the Rams’ wide-out and L.A. this Sunday.

The “God’s Plan” singer posted three sizable bets totaling $1.26 million in Bitcoin on his Instagram account on Friday, taking the Rams to win, OBJ to exceed 62.5 receiving yards, and OBJ to score a touchdown.

“I’ve got to come through for him,” Beckham told reporters after a laugh, “but ultimately, bro, I just want to be able to hold that trophy up, look your brothers in the eyes like, ‘Man, we did it.’ And just feel that joy…Honestly, I feel like if I play my game, I catch everything that comes my way, I make the plays, I stay locked in, one play at a time, all of those things are very possible.”

Drake was infamous for many years for "cursing" those he put his faith behind in sports, but after his hometown Toronto Raptors won the NBA championship in 2019, such talk has died down significantly.

Deaf rappers to make history in halftime show

Sean Forbes and Warren “WaWa” Snipes are set to become the first two sign-language interpreters in the history of the Super Bowl halftime show, as they’ll take the stage alongside Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, and Kendrick Lamar.

“It’s really important to me to really present who they are,” Forbes told CNYCentral.com, “and that’s nothing for me to do that because all of them have influenced me over the past 30 years. The connections that are being made here are gonna open so many doors for the deaf community for music access, captioning, we’re pushing conversations that need to happen.”
