Locks of the Week
Scott: Packers vs. 49ers (Over 46.5) The Niners' defense has come back to life a bit as the competition has gotten stiffer and since they have lost LB Kwon Alexander. They also are likely to be without Dee Ford when they meet one of the league's better all-around offenses in Green Bay. Aaron Rodgers and crew should have success, but their defense has had serious issues over the last several weeks. They will struggle to stop Kyle Shanahan's offense on the road. Look for a shootout in the Bay Area on Sunday night.Adam: Buccaneers vs. Falcons (Over 51) The Under has hit in the Falcons' last four games, but the Over has hit in the Buccaneers' last eight games. Neither offense has issues abandoning the run, and we can expect that here. These two offenses combine to average 627 passing yards per game, and the defenses combine to allow 552 yard per game through the air. This won't be a slug fest; it will be a chuck-and-duck extravaganza of yards and points.
Rohit: Seahawks (+1.5) Seattle comes in to Philadelphia well-rested after a bye, following their huge win against the 49ers in Week 10. They take on a disappointing Eagles team that has struggled on offense and likely won't be able to contain MVP candidate Russell Wilson. The Seahawks are 8-2 and have a perfect 5-0 record on the road. Getting them as an underdog is a gift.
Ben: Giants vs. Bears (Under 40.5) My pick of the week comes in Chicago, where I think the total should be closer to 30.5. I have no faith that either offense can put up big points in this game, and I expect them both to score under 20 points each.
