Eagles vs. Jets: NFL Week 13 betting odds, preview, and pick
The Philadelphia Eagles will stay in New York to face the Jets this Sunday, hoping to avoid back-to-back losses in the Big Apple.
Let's examine this interconference matchup, beginning with the latest betting odds.
Turnovers are deadly
The Eagles outgained the New York Giants 208-70 in rushing yards and 332-264 in total yards. They also had seven drives in the Giants' half of the field. However, Philadelphia turned the ball over four times and had a turnover on downs.
The Giants had zero turnovers, and that was the difference in the game. The Eagles found their path to success by controlling the ground game and playing strong defense. Nonetheless, if you lose the turnover battle, it is hard to win in the NFL. And with a -4 turnover margin, it is nearly impossible.

The good news is that Philly's next opponent has the worst turnover differential in the league. The Jets have only forced nine turnovers, while they have 32 turnovers of their own. The Eagles will need to get back to playing clean football before their bye week.
Zach Wilson is back
The No. 2 overall pick from last year’s draft returned last week with a nice road win. It was the Jets’ first road win of the season, and stopped a three game losing streak. Surprisingly, they were able to pull out the win because of a strong rushing attack.
Tevin Coleman and Austin Walter got heavily involved for the first time this season and they stepped up to join Ty Johnson in Michael Carter’s absence. The Jets had 157 rushing yards and Wilson added a rushing touchdown of his own.

Wilson did not have the greatest game, but he managed his way to a road win, which is no easy task in the NFL. The Eagles defense will be a tough task for the rookie, but he will have a little more balance on offense to keep them on their toes.

Must-win for Eagles
The Eagles have the latest bye week you can have in the NFL this year and they desperately need this win before it. They currently sit 2.5 games behind the Dallas Cowboys with a head-to-head loss in the NFC East. They are also 0.5 games behind the current No. 7-seed in the NFC playoff picture.
A win here will keep their playoff hopes alive as they finish the season with four consecutive games against divisional opponents. The matchup here is great for the Eagles as they bring the No. 1 rushing offense against the No. 27 rushing defense.
The Eagles were clearly the better team last week against the Giants, but they let turnovers prevent them from winning. They will not do that this week against a team that has forced less turnovers than all but one team in the league. Give me the Eagles to bounce back from a bad loss.
