Derrick Henry favored to post most rushing yards on Sunday
Among the more intriguing markets in the Sunday leaders prop bets department on BetAmerica is most rushing yards. Tennessee Titans tailback Derrick Henry – the NFL’s leading rusher through Week 13 – is a considerable favorite at +105. He’ll be matched up with a forgiving Jacksonville Jaguars defense that’s 30th in yards allowed per game on the ground (136.9), but is Henry the best available bet in this market? We’ll go hunting for some value with the following trio of picks.
Odds for most rushing yards this Sunday
Player | Odds |
---|
Derrick Henry | +105 |
Dalvin Cook | +650 |
James Robinson | +1000 |
Ezekiel Elliott | +1200 |
David Montgomery | +1600 |
James Robinson (+1000)
Jaguars tailback James Robinson is third in the NFL in rushing yards this season (968) behind only Henry (1,317) and Dalvin Cook (1,250). The undrafted rookie from Illinois State will go toe-to-toe with Henry at TIAA Bank Field this Sunday.
Much like Henry, Robinson draws an soft matchup with the Titans’ 16th-ranked run stoppers. Tennessee has allowed over 100 rushing yards in four of their last six contests. When these AFC South rivals met in Week 2 of the 2020 season, Robinson rushed for 102 yards on 16 carries.
Based on value, Robinson is a far more appealing wager than Henry for most rushing yards.

Aaron Jones (+2200)
Aaron Jones has the third-most yards per carry (5.2) of any running back in the NFL this season (min. 100 attempts). He is a serious threat to go off for the Green Bay Packers this Sunday.
Jones will face the Detroit Lions’ 28th-rated run stoppers by yards allowed per game this year (133.9). He carved up this unit in Week 2, rushing for a season-high 168 yards.

Alvin Kamara (+3500)
Alvin Kamara is no longer on the New Orleans Saints’ injury report, and he’s gradually been getting more work out of the backfield over the last few weeks. His 15 attempts against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 13 was his highest output since Week 4. Kamara seems due for another huge game, and Sunday could be it.

Kamara will square off with a Philadelphia Eagles defense that’s surrendered 140.5 yards per game on the ground over its last eight contests. The Tennessee product rushed for 71 yards on 13 carries in his lone prior start against the Eagles in November of 2018.
