The Cowboys appear to have righted the ship after three straight losses, with two relatively easy wins over the Eagles and Giants. They’ll look to build on that momentum Sunday night against the inconsistent Vikings, who just had a four-game win streak snapped by Matt Moore and the Chiefs.

Ezekiel Elliott has been on a roll
Dallas brings its top-rated offense by yards per game into this contest. It’s a well-balanced unit, as running back Ezekiel Elliott (three straight 100-yard games) forces opposing defenses to respect the ground game, which sets quarterback Dak Prescott up for success through the air. Prescott is completing 68.1% of his passes through four games at home this year (where the Cowboys are 3-1 against the spread) for 10 yards per attempt. Minnesota’s defense is fourth in points allowed per game but 10th in yards per play, so a good offense like that of the Cowboys is capable of moving the chains against this unit.Vikings will miss Adam Thielen
The Vikings’ attack looked stunted without wide receiver Adam Thielen for most of last week’s game against Kansas City. A balky hamstring will probably hold him out of Sunday night’s affair in Dallas. That spells trouble for quarterback Kirk Cousins against the Cowboys’ seventh-rated pass stoppers. Dalvin Cook has been Minnesota’s redeemer on offense this year (136.8 yards from scrimmage per game), but Dallas’ rush defense is capable of keeping him in check. The Cowboys have allowed just one rush of 20 or more yards this season, the lowest mark in the league.Trends bettors should note that the Cowboys have covered in five straight November games and that they’re 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following a cover.
