Cowboys narrowly favored over Eagles in crucial Sunday showdown
The Cowboys, fresh off one of their best performances of the season in a 44-21 victory over the Rams, will look to build on that momentum in Philadelphia against the Eagles. This Week 16 affair does not serve as an elimination game for Dallas like it does for Philly, but a loss would torpedo the Cowboys' playoff chances, too. Recent trends suggest that the Cowboys will clinch the NFC East crown in the City of Brotherly Love on Sunday.

Elliott should run wild
Dallas’ top-ranked offense by yards per play will matchup with the Eagles’ 18th-ranked defense in the corresponding category. When these teams last met at AT&T Stadium in Week 7, the Cowboys’ offense had a field day in a 37-10 victory. Ezekiel Elliott ran for 111 yards and a touchdown in that tilt, so look for him to get the ball on the ground early and often Sunday, as quarterback Dak Prescott is reportedly nursing a hairline fracture of the index finger on his throwing hand.Ezekiel Elliott's big plays vs LAR. pic.twitter.com/EIyjTRuIav

The Eagles have looked shaky lately
The Eagles have not played good football over the last three weeks. They lost to the Dolphins, then barely scraped by the Giants and Redskins. Quarterback Carson Wentz has greatly missed top wideouts DeSean Jackson, Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor. Wentz is expected to get the latter back Sunday, but running back Miles Sanders will have to pick up the slack once more on offense. The rookie from Penn State posted 122 yards and a touchdown against Washington last week but won’t sneak up on Dallas here. Two of the biggest gains for rookie RB Miles Sanders in this game came via the 'Draw' play --- draw the DL in with the threat of the pass, create some wide rush lanes, and let your speed back do the rest. The Cowboys have covered in seven straight divisional games. They’re also 6-1 against the spread in their last seven visits to Philadelphia. The Eagles have played poorly at home of late, with just four ATS wins in their last 14 games at Lincoln Financial Field. They’re also 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games as home underdogs.
