Chiefs vs Ravens: The best betting props for MNF
Get ready for the game of the year! I know it is only Week 3 of the NFL season, but I can't imagine another game receiving as much hype. Patrick Mahomes and the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs head to Baltimore to take on defending MVP Lamar Jackson and the Ravens for a Monday Night Football showdown. Both teams enter this contest 2-0.
Here are the three best props for the Week 3 Monday Night Football game between the Chiefs and Ravens.
Lamar Jackson rushing yards
Lamar Jackson may be the greatest rushing quarterback in league history when it is all said and done. I can't imagine there is a more intriguing prop bet from one week to the next than how many rushing yards Jackson will rack up. In this one, you find the number at 60.5 rushing yards.

So far this season, Jackson has racked up 45 and 54 rushing yards in each of the opening two games. In 2019, he went over this number in 12 of his 15 games. However, one of the three games he failed to hit this number was the Kansas City game, where he garnered 46 rushing yards on eight carries.
The Chiefs have already played a mobile quarterback once this season in Deshaun Watson in the opening game of the season. The defense held Watson to 27 yards rushing on six attempts. Even though Jackson has the ability to break one at any moment, the smart money her is on the Under.
Pick: Under 60.5 yards (-110)
Travis Kelce receiving yards
Just as Jackson may be the greatest rushing quarterback of all time, Travis Kelce may be the greatest receiving tight end of all time. He has averaged 67.4 yards per game throughout his career and 79.6 yards per game since Mahomes took over at quarterback. Here in this game, you are getting the number at 69.5 yards.

To start the season, Kelce has gotten 50 and 90 receiving yards in each of his two games. He also has 20 targets through two games, so the arsenal of weapons surrounding him has not decreased his volume. In last year’s game with the Ravens, Kelce managed to get 89 yards on seven catches and eight targets. However, it's worth noting Tyreek Hill was absent in that one.
The Ravens' defense has been impressive to start the season, but tight ends have had their way with them. The Cleveland Browns tight end tandem of David Njoku and Austin Hooper racked up 65 yards combined and the Houston Texans’ Jordan Akins and Darren Fells put up 78 yards combined. Kelce will be a much tougher task, and I love the Over here for the talented tight end.
Pick: Over 69.5 yards (-115)
First touchdown scorer
This bet is always a big gamble, as there is usually not a ton of research and numbers to back your selection. However, you can always get excellent value with this and I love a good value bet when it comes to props.
The Ravens have scored the first touchdown of the game in both of their first two contests. Mark Andrews and Patrick Ricard were those touchdown scorers. The Chiefs failed to score the first touchdown in both of their contests so far. So let us look at the best option for the Ravens.
Both of the early touchdowns allowed by the Chiefs in their games were rushing touchdowns. In last year’s contest, Mark Ingram hit the end zone on three separate occasions. He also already has a rushing touchdown this season. I like his chances to be the first touchdown scorer in this likely high scoring affair.
