Cardinals vs. Rams: The best player prop bets for Week 4
It's shaping up to be a huge weekend in the NFC West as the Seattle Seahawks take on the San Francisco 49ers, and the Arizona Cardinals face the Los Angeles Rams. It is the best division in football, and these games will go a long way in deciding the eventual winner of what is projected to be a very tight race.
For today, let’s take a closer look at the Cardinals vs. Rams contest and pick three player prop winners.
Van Jefferson Over/Under 37.5 Receiving Yards
Van Jefferson appears ready to take a leap forward in 2021, and is getting a significant percentage of snaps with this elite Rams offense.
While previously the Rams had a stockpile in the running back room and a questionable passer in Jared Goff, the 2021 iteration has seen multiple running back injuries and the acquisition of an elite passer in Matthew Stafford. It makes sense that all the receivers would get more opportunity to excel, but as the receivers with the third-highest snap count percentage on the roster, Jefferson is being plugged in as the deep threat.

Robert Woods spent a couple years making many of the big plays, but he’s a bit slower than Jefferson who is likely the fastest option on the team. While Jefferson isn’t yet getting the same number of targets as some of his colleagues, his position as third receiver means he typically attracts a lesser defender, thereby setting him up to make big plays. He is averaging 19.4 yards per catch, and while he has only seven receptions on the year, all it would take is two catches to put him over this number.
Pick: Over 37.5 Receiving Yards (-117)
Darrell Henderson to Score a Touchdown
I won’t overly complicate this one. Darrell Henderson is the team’s leading rusher, and is a trusted option for Sean McVay, especially in goal line situations.

Henderson has two touchdowns in two games played, and now gets to face a Cardinals team that is 31st in the league in yards allowed per rush. They’ve been better near the goal line, but the Rams should be able to move the ball and McVay will be well aware of Arizona's struggles stopping the run. Look for Henderson to get several attempts at pushing one through, and for this to cash easily.
Pick: Yes (-103)
Rondale Moore Over/Under 3.5 Receptions
The Rams' defense does a good job of taking away the deep ball from opponents, but the side effect of the dominant pass rush and Jalen Ramsey’s blanket coverage is that opposing passers are completing 70% of their attempts.
Quarterbacks are forced to make quick drops, quick decisions, and shorter throws. As a result, deep threats like DeAndre Hopkins and Christian Kirk will probably have lesser opportunities in this game, while rookie Rondale Moore should see a few additional targets than usual as the team's short range and midrange escape valve option.
Moore is a scatback dual-threat player who possesses the quickness to evade almost any defender assigned to him. Look for the Purdue alum to see a bit more usage, and hit his Over on total receptions.
Pick: Over 3.5 receptions (-110)
