Buccaneers vs. Packers: The best passing props for the NFC Championship game
Sunday afternoon’s NFC Championship game promises to be a fascinating matchup between two of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Tom Brady and the Green Bay Packers’ Aaron Rodgers. There are a few interesting passing prop bets being offered for this tilt, so without further ado, let’s dive into them.
Tom Brady passing yards
Brady threw for no fewer than 348 yards in four straight games before facing the New Orleans Saints last Sunday. He was held to just 199 yards through the air in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, but that was partially because the Bucs’ defense forced four total turnovers, leading to some short fields for the Tampa offense.

Brady has averaged nearly 285 passing yards per postseason game over his celebrated career. He’ll find a way to eclipse the 289-yard plateau on Sunday, especially if his team is down late and he needs to throw.
NFL play: Brady Over 289.5 passing yards (-112)
Aaron Rodgers touchdown passes
No one threw more touchdown passes in the regular season than presumptive 2020 NFL MVP Rodgers did this year (48). The Bucs’ stoppers were a modest 13th in passing touchdowns allowed this season (29).

Tampa gave up just two total passing scores in their first two playoff games, but Washington played with former practice squad quarterback Taylor Heinicke under center, and New Orleans’ Drew Brees was throwing with a partially-torn rotator cuff.
Rodgers should put up at least three passing touchdowns on Sunday afternoon at Lambeau Field.
NFL play: Rodgers Over 2.5 touchdown passes (+124)
Aaron Rodgers interceptions
Rodgers has been extremely cautious with the football this season, surrendering just five interceptions, the fewest in the NFL among qualified quarterbacks. However, the odds on Rodgers to throw a pick in the NFC Championship game are much too tempting to pass up.

Tampa’s defense was tied for seventh with 15 interceptions in the regular season, and they’ve added four to their ledger in the playoffs thus far. The Bucs bring the heat on opposing passers early and often, as they were fourth in the regular season in sacks (48).
It would not be surprising if they bait Rodgers into a mistake in this one.
NFL play: Rodgers Over 0.5 interceptions (+175)
