Buccaneers vs. Falcons: The best player prop bets for Week 13
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers can take a big step toward clinching the NFC South when they visit the second-place Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Will Tom Brady and company make a clean getaway against the “Dirty Birds,” or will Matt Ryan and company fly high at home? Let’s start finding out as we dig into the litany of available player props.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-3) at Atlanta Falcons (5-6), 1:00 p.m. ET, FOX
Tom Brady Over/Under 303.5 passing yards
Brady is averaging fewer passes per game as the season goes on, as well as fewer yards per attempt. The Under looks like a slam-dunk here.
The Bucs signal caller has averaged 38 throws and 6.6 yards per attempt over his last three games, for a solid but not spectacular average of 251 passing yards per tilt. All three of the defenses Brady faced in that stretch (Washington Football Team, New York Giants, and Indianapolis Colts) rank below the Falcons by yards allowed per game through the air this season.
.@TomBrady leads the NFL in both pass yards per game (318.9) and pass TDs (27)... at age 44.

Atlanta is 17th in the NFL with 236.9 passing yards allowed per contest. Only Dak Prescott (317 yards) of the Dallas Cowboys was able to surpass the 303.5-yard passing mark against the Falcons’ stoppers. And since he did so in Week 10, Atlanta’s pass defense allowed just 174 yards and 216 yards, respectively, over their last two affairs.
NFL pick: Under (-115)
Cordarrelle Patterson Over/Under 34.5 rushing yards
After a couple of quiet games on the ground, halfback/wide-out hybrid Cordarrelle Patterson exploded for 108 yards on 16 carries against the Jacksonville Jaguars last week. He appears to be in line for another excellent performance on Sunday.

Tampa’s stoppers have been coasting on reputation as an outstanding rush defense over the last few weeks. They’ve surrendered no fewer than 94 rushing yards in five of their last six contests, and were tagged for 35 or more yards by the likes of Miles Sanders (66 yards), Khalil Herbert (100 yards), Alvin Kamara (61 yards), Antonio Gibson (66 yards), and Jonathan Taylor (83 yards).
This unit has also proven vulnerable to unconventional rushing attacks, with Jalen Hurts (44 yards), Justin Fields (38 yards), Jameis Winston (40 yards), and Deonte Harris (one rush, 22 yards) also hurting this defense in that stretch.
Patterson has the ability to cash this Over on one play. Take him to eclipse the mark on Sunday with ease.
NFL pick: Over (-112)
Mike Evans touchdown scorer
No wide-out in the NFL has more touchdown grabs than Mike Evans this season (10), and he should add at least one more to his tally in this matchup.

Evans had a four-game touchdown scoring streak interrupted last week, when the Indianapolis Colts held him to three catches. But the Falcons have allowed the third-most touchdowns to wide receivers in the NFL (15), so that gives him a great chance to bounce back in this spot.
NFL pick: Evans anytime touchdown (-106)
