Lakers vs. Heat: The best betting props for Game 4 of the NBA Finals
Thanks to an unforgettable performance from Jimmy Butler on Sunday night, the Miami Heat are still very much alive against the Los Angeles Lakers. With Game 4 scheduled for Oct. 6 at 9:00 p.m. ET, we’ll soon see if the Heat can build on this momentum, or if the Lakers can regroup and take a commanding 3-1 series lead.
BetAmerica has the best betting props to check out before tip-off.
Lakers to score an odd number of points in the first quarter (-105)
In each of the three games so far, the Lakers have scored an odd number in the first quarter. There’s no reason to expect that to change here, especially as they have come out with roughly the same energy each game out. This is a safe prop to stack with others.
Lakers to cover the 7-point spread (-114)
The Lakers are not going to put together back-to-back flops at this stage, especially with LeBron James poised for a statement game at the expense of Butler. The average margin of victory has been 13-points through the three games, so taking Los Angeles and the points is a better bet than the moneyline.
Heat to reach 12 points first (+110)
Miami might have found a way to stifle the Lakers, and should carry a bit of that momentum early as Los Angeles tries counter-tactics early on. This should give Butler, Tyler Herro and Jae Crowder a chance to jump to an early lead. The Heat should reach 12 before things get interesting.
First half total to go Over 112.5 points (-115)
Both teams should come out firing in the first half. If Bam Adebayo comes back from injury, as some reports are suggesting for Game 4, then Miami should be able to have a strong offensive output to match the Lakers. While it’s going against the grain of the series, this might end up being a high scoring half.
Lakers to win by 10-13 points (+580)
The average margin of victory in this series has been 13 points. The Lakers should cover and win Game 4, so the most interesting prop has to be a victory within the 10-13 point range. As contentious as this game should be, the Lakers taking this at +580 is as good of a prop as you can get.
